Similar thing is happening in Talensi constituency where the candidate (BT Baba) does not show respect to party member or most of the electorates. The ground is ripe for his defeat but he can't see. Even whenever his people draw his attention to certain things, he rubbishes them. We are waiting to see.

ET was a founding member of the NDC. When ET and co were establishing NDC where was Sam George and Co. It is a Shame that NDC is sacking it's loyal and faithfully members who have served the party for years. How does the NDC expect to wins elections when it is pushing out all its faithfully members like ET Mensah, Rawlings, Lawyer Tiskata and Martin Amidu. This is complete in fighting and the effects will show in the General elections. Multi Party Democracy is about numbers and not where power lies. There is no difference between NDC and NPP. This is similar to NPP pushing Afoko and Adjapong out of the NPP. Lets all remember that politics is about numbers. A house divided can not stand upright. This is the reason that defect is gradually befalling the NDC. NDC has sacked about 23 members from the party because of they going independent. A largely numbers are in the Volta Region. December 7th will show the effect of these decisions which are not proper. The NDC should be up and doing to solve these conflicts otherwise....... The present generation of NDC youth are doing a disservice to growth and development of the party. Some these person like ET started with the June Fourth Movement but today they are being pushed out of the party why oh why. This is disgraceful.

The President right from day one wanted to be his own man by instituting factionalism and creating unnecessary factions.The late President mills tried this but it backfired woefully something then President Mahama as a vice should have learned from.The NDC as a party started as a revolutionary movement.We still have people loyal to the course and objectives of the revolution in line with the ideology of the NDC as a Social Democratic Party. Even though most gurus of the NDC including ET Mensah have been guilty of corruption themselves and betraying the Founder in the process,President John Mahama's posture is most remarkable.John Mahama strategy of exerting his own influence by stifling people particularly Cadres perceived to be loyal to the Founder was a huge political suicide.Naturally President Mahama had problems with the likes of the Founder and Martin Amidu because of his penchant for corruption against the principles of social democracy and social justice.He found new friends including people from other political parties who believe in crony capitalism and its associated corruption further deepening the rift and cracks in the party.The threat to Prez.Mahama's re-election is not NDC gurus most of whom i know currently oppose him but the majority poor who often vote for the party whose needs have not been addressed ,because of poor governance,endemic widespread corruption and mismanagement of the economy bringing about untold hardship.
