The suit was frivolous and the Supreme Court should have thrown it out without a hearing. No where are early votes in national elections counted and results announced prior to the actual day of the election. I do not know why ...

Same thing happened during the NPP court case which had the whole country on tender hooks for 8 months.You had Dr Bawumia making a statement to the effect that 'You and I were not there'meaning as a witness he wsa not present at the place and time of is allegation--an unreliable witness.
Sadly, the Supreme Court is damaging its own reputation.

Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr. tried, in the last Primaries, to pull a similar ploy to exclusively enhance Akufo-Addo's chance of being elected for the NPP flagbearership, even though the candidate was favored to win.

The Professor of Fiction Writing in New York wrote a detailed narrative persuading the NPP hierarchy to establish Akufo-Addo as the sole spokesperson for the Party way ahead of the Primaries. It was in continuance of similar tactic that the Akufo-Addo faction scheduled many foreign travels for him to interact with dignitaries of various Governments abroad, as if to inform those Diplomats that he alone deserved their attention and support for Ghana's Presidency.

He was made to appear and act more Presidential even before he could hope for winning the Elections.

1. they believed that if they could get the results declared there, the stood a good chance of influencing Ghanaians with that result. How? Here it is.. they new that most media houses which were going to vote were sympathisers of the NPP. You remember the media cabal JM talked about. So while the case was being filed at the court, NPP quickly organised a conference where they announced that if they came into power, they were going to increase the army retirement years from 25 to 30 years . this was just to get the support of the security forces to boots their chances of wining the special voting exercises.
so they believed that if they had de support of the army in this regard and the media which they believed would vote for them, then they could win the special votes context. Now here is what they were going to put into the minds of Ghanaians to vote for the NPP if they had their evil way. they would have campaigned that the all the security forces are for Nana Addo , so if Ghanaians don't vote for nana, there could be coup in the country because the forces have spoken. And because Ghanaians want peace, the gullible ones would quickly change their minds to vote for nana and that could brighten their chances of winning the elections. God being so Good has implored the judges to throw out the case. That would be disastrous for Ghana had the court agreed to their evil request.
No amount evil machinations bu the opposition NPP will ever see the light of the day. The same way I believe the Sunday keep fit clashes were orchestrated by the NPP in order to tag the neck with violence which will soon elude them again. Look at the time and number of press conferences they held immediately after the issue and assigned names to make them believable. Pathetic indeed. God reigns.

Every objective, level-headed person could see how idiotic his suggestions to announce the results for every early votes prior to the final day of Elections were.

Two things were obvious from his case to the Supreme Court. First, Amoako-Baah ignored the most likely consequence of chaos erupting, should any such intervening voting is announced to show a trend not favoring one side. Second, Amoako-Baah seems to advocate or secretly wish that such voting results could be used by his side to tweak its campaign to attain the final results it expects.

The truth of the matter is that voting remains private and protected until the final and real Election Day is over.

So, Amoako-Baah must stop his TRUMP-LIKE mischievous pre-voting schemes to skew the Election environment in favor of his side. If he and his Akyem Mafia cabal have anything to prove for the People's votes, they better present it now, or forever resign to the outcome of the Elections after the Day originally assigned for voting.
