The founder and presidential candidate of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, has launched blistering attacks on President Mahama and his wealthy brother, Ibrahim Mahama, accusing them of stealing.

Some online portals recently reported that the multi-millionaire had purchased a 20-million dollar jet for his brother, President Mahama.

However speaking to traders at Kantamanto on Thursday as part of her Greater Accra campaign tour, the former First Lady questioned how the businessman got the money to buy a jet for his brother when he is unable to repay a bank loan.

“What sort of lie is this? How come your brother [Ibrahim Mahama] who was unable to pay a bank loan, managed to get 20 million dollars to buy a plane for you?. It means that while you are stealing, your brother is also stealing, your family is stealing , your friends are also stealing , ” Mrs Rawlings fired.

"So what should Ghanaians do? Let’s vote them out," she charged.

Most importantly, he should also do his home work at Kyebi before he brags about doing something at Nkroful. Was it not his own disgruntled forebears who ousted Kwame Nkrumah? That was the beginning of the end of Ghana's progress. The NLM/UP/PP/PFP/NPP is the bane of Ghana's woes. Akufo Addo should stop going around giving deceitful hopes and populous views only to win an election. Physician Addo, heal thyself.

If Nkrumah had built his hometown into a modern City/Town like Afrifah did for his Krobo village, you would be among the first and the most vociferous to denounce him as a corrupt Head of State who had used State funds to develop only his Town. Your hypocrisy is sickening. How come you didn't complain about that total reconstruction of Krobo that Afrifah did? Talk about corruption and nepotism! All of you do it all the time but choose who to charge others for doing it.

You might as well have confiscated any Public facility of excellent value in that City to sell to your private cronies as part of your fraudulent silent, non-competitive bidding divestiture that your and your cohorts did in the aftermath of Nkrumah's overthrow.
