Volta region is no longer the 'World Bank' and stronghold of the NDC con-men. After snatching the party from Rawlings and his wife by the 'babies with sharp teeth', and ignoring the developmental needs of the Volta region, the people of the region feel betrayed and have now joined their brothers and sisters in other parts of the country to reject the NDC party.

I, therefore, advise Mr. Mahama and his 'babies with sharp teeth' to make Gonjaland their 'World Bank' and stronghold of the party instead of the Volta region if they can.

Under Mahama we have seen the introduction of the Rural Enterprises Programme (REP) to create jobs for the youth, particularly those in the informal sector and the introduction of the Secondary Education Improvement Project (SEIP) which aims at increasing access to Senior Secondary Education in undeserved districts and improve quality in low-performing SHSs in the country

This significant expansion (6000+) is as a result of the scrapping of the trainees allowances and the introduction of 'Mahama camboo' vehicles to promote easy transportation and create jobs for the teeming youth
