Lungu, the Ashanti-Boy who has disguised himself and therefore behind the nickname Prof. Lungu, even though he has no single degree, and the arrogant and useless Togolese trokosi Ewe, C.Y. Andy Kwawukume, (the son of a notorious former Ghana Customs Officer) both NPP haters have platform themselves in a dwert to display their usual tribal and pertisan stupidity.

Cousin Kojo T,
Dust up your Dane guns! We are just beginning. They have declared war on us.
Can you believe that our errant relatives and subjects have teamed up with other robber barons to demarcate and share the Keta Lagoon for salt mining without a thought for those living off the lagoon and the marginal land around it from which they earn a precarious living?
And to cap it all, they have chosen a Swiss man married to an Anlo woman (father from Alakple and mother Asadame) to front for them in an attempt to scoop for themselves the potential oil and gas deposits in the Keta Basin. The Swiss was given 82% and his wife and family 5%, for ostensibly introducing the husband as an investor, so one family controls 87%, Ghana 12% and the rest another front! We have the names of all involved in the plot, besides the documents. And you know why they are so brazen, and have taken what started under Kufuor to this greater level, with even Sam Jonah's name involved in the sharing of the lagoon during Kufuor's time and brazen attempts to impose a subservient impostor on us as Awoamefia? It is simply because most Ghanaians have shown themselves to be apathetic to this brazen daylight robbery going on!

You should know that I won't say of Asantes, the traditional allies of the Asantes in the times of the Dane guns. Let me tell you a funny story.
I just came back from Ghana after a long absence and I had the opportunity to revise some historical notes. According to a snr sister who was the State Attorney in charge of the Ash/R for some years - 1990s- 2000s, an elderly Asante came to seek favour and to drive his point home, she told her that you Awunafo were Asantes we put there. In Twi, of course. Phew! You know what? Proper Asantes and Anlos don't insult each other.

Good effort by the two brothers inbbringing awareness about the crass injustice within the terms of Ghana's oil contracts.
But the real question is accountability for the oil revenue we have so far received, no matter how infinitesimal.
It is all right to advance for the nationalist cause of fair multinational oil contracts but we must not lose sight of the fact that the little income we have so far received from our oil resources has all been wasted with passionate rapacity, just like in Nkrumah's time when billions of dollars simply vanished from the national coffers.

Dr SAS,
Our concern is securing a big revenue first before the nitty gritty of managing and sharing the revenue. Not to say that we haven't got ideas on managing and sharing the revenue too.
In fact, I have urged our chief expert a number of times to focus a bit on that too, taking a cue from the Nigerian example we are both very much aware of, as that's more of an immediate concern to the chiefs and people of say the Western Region and potential areas of oil too. Anyway, it is diversionary from the bigger picture we are focused on.
So is your attempt to malign the Nkrumah regime too. Even as a child, I knew there were no billions to be stolen then. I can boast that I was privileged to have inside knowledge of the period and much later. My father was acting again as the Financial Comptroller of the Workers Brigade, from his substantive post of Deputy since its inception, when the abominable 1966 coup occurred. When in Ghana recently, one puzzle was cleared by our 88 year mum whose memory has rather been rejuvenated by a minor stroke she had. Phew! She can tell you what you did first day of your birth! So we learned that the Nkrumah Minister with the big nose whose niece happened to be married to our uncle was one of the wayward Ministers who used to send that djato, Lindsay, to cajole Papa to connive with them to siphon out money through the Workers Brigade and Papa's refusal was the reason for all the bad treatments meted out to him, which is still pissing our mum. I can give you the name of the appropriate Commission report to read about what I knew as a child. The biggest money stolen from WB was by the British recruited as Financial Comptroller after our Dad's British partner left to the UK. Anyway, in spite of failure to recognise Papa's honesty, paying him his full entiltements (all along on contract) and confirming him as the substantive head, he stayed on long enough to act as chief witness in the removal of Ankrah of Head of State. I personally ironed the shirt for him to appear before the Commission of Inquiry in camera. It was holidays so we were in Accra then.
Corruption then was a petty affair done on the blind side of Nkrumah but what has been occurring since his overthrow is something else beyond belief. Do you know that the hotel WAWA Kufuor bought was with cash and the Prudential Bank and his son were only used as a cover? Look, some of us are fed up with the ongoing corruption in Ghana and this robber baron style introduced by Kufuor and the NPP and which the NDC is continuing is what proddded us to join forces to campaign against this naked robbery.
