THE EC HAS NEVER CLAIMED TO BE ABOVE THE LAW. WHY WOULD THEY BE IN COURT, IN THE FIRST PLACE, IF THEY DEEMED THEMSELVES ABOVE THE LAW? THIS IS JUST A SELF PROMOTING FREE ADVERTISEMENT.
