The Ghana Armed Forces has denied media reports that it has assigned men to protect President John Mahama’s brother, Ibrahim Mahama.

Media reports have suggested that soldiers have been detailed to guard the President’s brother after pictures of him in the company of soldiers while on a health walk emerged on social media.

But in a statement to clarify the matter, the Armed Forces Command condemned the act and assured that the necessary action is being taking to address the issue.

“The Military High command has taken a serious exception of the bad conduct in respect of soldiers who participated in a health walk and were alleged to have been providing close protection to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama.

“The Military High Command wish to state that it has not assigned any soldier as body guard to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama. The soldiers in question were assigned as part of the security detail at the flagstaff House,” the statement signed by Director Public Affairs Colonel Aggrey-Quashie noted.

John Dramani Mahama has peesonally been leading the crusade of the insults I'm this country and nobody has been spared.
It will be recalled, when Mahama instigated that duo to launch that insulting attack, about a few weeks or days after, he was to scheduled to go to the Eastern region. His schedule included visiting the Okyehene but with the barring of his 2 insulting members from entering the Palace, Mavis and Mahama and the two decided not to visit the Okyehene again on that scheduled tour of the Eastern region.
John Dramani Mahama rather went visiting another Chief thumping his nose at the Okyehene and actually showing his full support for the insults on the person of Ofori Panin Fie.
Is it now that you have come to stand there with Mavis behind closed doors for what?
Arrogance of power has created a situation where John Dramani Mahama and his cohorts do not respect anybody in this country. He does not respect anybody in this country.
Across all the 10 regions of Ghana, one can list traditional authorities that have been at the receiving end of John Dramani Mahama's insulting attacks from him and his minnows.
Ghanaians are saying John Dramani Mahama and his NDC party and gov't is going to be thought the lessons they need to learn at the ballot box this December. Up and down the ballot, the lesson will vibrate long, hard and far in this country.
