  Whether you deleted your words after you have been spoken to doesn't make any difference. It was made public to humiliate her, people read it and it has ingrained in their mind. My advice to both of you and the rest who want to join in the defamation context, when you meet one on one and there is nobody around you tell each other what want, with that there is no witnesses it's going to be "she said he said" but the moment you put it in writing for all who can read to read, it's too late to take it back. As you defame and ridicule someone the person may retaliate to prove their ignorance or not reply to prove their maturity either way people would have been aware of the tension between you two
