This is the second easiest group behind groups B and C. I have not found anyone who thought this group was a difficult one outside of the Ghanaian media, it very obviously is not.

AA BLOOPERS & MISQUOTES:
1.James Akwasi Appiah has blamed nature for his side’s inability to qualify to the next stage of the Caf Confederations Cup. LOL..Al Khartoum were compelled to finish the game while it was raining and lost the game by a lone goal. WAA LOOK. REALLY, SO WHY DID THE THE OTHER CLUD NOT BLAME THE RAIN FOR THEIR WIN? DID GOD TELL THE OTHER TEAM TO PREPARE FOR A RAINY GAME? https://ghanasoccernet.com/former-black-stars-coach-akwasi-appiah-blames-rains-for-al-khartoums-confederations-cup-slump
2.Ghana Assistant coach Kwesi Appiah blames ill-luck for their lone goal loss to Zambia in the semi final clash of the 2010 Orange Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday in Bata. REALLY..ILL LUCK? WHAT ABOUT U FAILED TO PREPARE WELL. SO U THINK ZAMBIA GAVE CREDIT TO LUCK FOR BEATING GH 1 NIL? SO HAD AA WON, WOULD HE HAVE GIVEN CREDIT TO TB JOE SHUA OR LUCK OR PREPARATION?
3.In an interview with German television network Eins shortly after Ghana lost to USA, an obviously angry Boateng in answer to why he came on late into the game retorted If Akwasi Appiah thinks the first selection was better than him then he should continue on that path. Meanwhile German football analyst have also questioned why Essien and Boateng were kept on the bench during the first half of the game.
4.A number of people however believe the former Black Stars captain is not up to the task and failed to deal with the disciplinary problems within the team that have also been blamed for Ghana’s early exit.
5.The Bankroller of King Faisal Football Club Alhaji Karim Grunsah says Ghanaians must stop deceiving themselves and admit to the fact that Akwasi Appiah needs technical help. “Football is not joke, it’s not a joke at all, we Ghanaians we are joking…we are not being sincere to ourselves…AKwasi Appiah needs help”
6.Kwesi Appiah was involved in an altercation with Kevin-Prince Boateng yesterday after Appiah thought that a comment Boateng made to Sulley Muntari was aimed at him. According to reports, Appiah swore at Boateng, who questioned why the head coach was shouting at him in front of every body. Appiah later on broke down in tears when the Black Stars entourage was having dinner and he had to be escorted out of the dining area by Prof. Kwame Mintah.
7.Sacked Ghana national team coach James Kwesi Appiah blames assistant coach Maxwell Kondu for stabbing him in the back. members of the technical team feel betrayed by the action of Maxwell Konadu, whom they have christened as ‘Nyantakyi’s doodle’. “For instance, Maxwell never opposed the idea of bringing in a technical advisor for the Black Stars. “Maxwell shockingly granted an interview before the World Cup and seemed to have questioned Kwesi Appiah’s decision of not calling up Awal Mohammed. Whilst in Brazil, a lot happened when Maxwell was rumoured to be giving different training instructions to the players instead of what the coach had given out. “Maxwell seemed to be eyeing the Black Stars job from day one and the Coach Appiah is now beginning to fully understand some of the things that happened in Brazil.
8.I had concerns with his starting XI especially with the decision to play two natural right-backs in Samuel Inkoom and Daniel Opare in the right and left back position respectively. My concern was simply why a coach won?t be confident enough to give a chance to the natural left-backs he called into the team.
9.'There was an incident at practice yesterday,' Boateng told SportBild. 'Sulley Muntari and I were joking around after a one-on-one. We both started laughing. The coach immediately stopped practice and asked why we were laughing. 'We said that everything was okay and he sent us to the locker room. I went to the coach after practice and asked whether I could talk to him for a minute. 'I asked him what he had against me, then he started shouting at me. He also insulted me. He said things like “f*** off”. Appiah insists he does not hate the player and that Boateng must examine his own conduct. “I do not habour hate against any human being and I will rather wish he does an in search to find out why out of 23 players he was the only one who had problems with both the technical team and officialdom,” Appiah said. TWEA, SOMEONE DIDNT PAY DATS WHY....
10.AFTER PLACING 5TH IN SUDANESE LG. APPIAH SAYS..AFTER LEAVING GH JOB FOR 2 YRS, HE HAS IMPROVED AS COACH.
11.“My ambition was to build a team that the nation will depend on for the next 10-15 years and if you recollect I was being criticized for not having a regular team because my team had new faces. Former Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah has revealed to Starr Sports his main ambition was to groom players for the senior national team for the next 10 to 15 years. REALLY? NAME 1 LEGENDARY NATIONAL TEAM COACH WHO HAS BUILD A NATIONAL TEAM FOR 10-15YRS? U DONT HAVE A CRITERIA FOR NATIONAL TEAM SELECTION. UR AMBITION IS TO WIN TROPHIES, NOT TO BUILD A LONGTERM TEAM...

Injuries are inevitable, this is sports. Grant spends all his time in Europe and yet for lack of effort or for lack of skill has recruited zero players, so when the injuries come, he has no one to play. That is his fault. All the other teams have injuries too but their coaches go out and recruit players to replace the injured players and to become starters in the future. Grant is unable, or unwilling, but either way he is unfit for the job.

One thing must be clear. l will describe foreign Coaches as mercenaries, that is they are here not because of the love for their host country but for the money, however, they do the best they can under the circumstances so that they don't spoil their record or even get a better contract elsewhere. Now if we decide to terminate Avram Grant's contract today, he will rather rejoice and in the end be laughing all the way to the Bank because Coaches all over the world have come to the realization that it is an uncertain job so they've also put measures in place to insulate themselves against such wanton termination of contract as you are suggesting. The Maxim is"sack us fine, but you'll have to pay a penalty'.FIFA is also there giving them the maximum support so if you default in compensating them, you incur their wrath in the form of sanctions. So my friend, more grease to your elbows in your attempt to have Avram Grant sacked and l hope you'll make a contribution to the sending- off package. Have you heard Akwasi Nyantakyi make any comments so far?He knows Ghanaians are all Coaches and is aware of the implications of sacking a coach so he has developed s thick skin.

Do not try to change your initial argument. The financial implications of contractual termination can be balanced alongside the state of the present coaching market, the detriment of continued inaction as far as fanbase, recruiting deadlines, tournament revenues and other factors concerned will be evaluated. You do not seem very clear on the clause of "just cause" for contractual termination but rather drawing on a few anecdotes, which is fine because you don't have to be, but don't try to pretend I have tried to make an argument I am not making and use information you do not understand to back it up. You tried to argue that his results are justified because of injuries, they are not. The legal specifics of what is a just cause termination and what are not are irrelevant here, you cannot justify the job he has done to "hold down the fort" on the pitch. He is either lazy or ineffective, and when his contract is up the GFA will rightfully see him out the door.
