He said "the NPP had lost its identity and had now become the preserve of the rich, who were actively buying votes to win internal elections.

For that reason, he wondered if the NPP had the moral right to accuse Mr John Mahama of using state resources to pay bribes and buy votes, when the outcome of its own polls was questionable".
Some of us have always known that the NPP strategy of labeling the President as corrupt was a strategy to hide their own massive corruption in their party. if there was ever a doubt, Chairman Wuntomi's aide has erased all that. Now we know NPP better.

The Police will very soon be chasing Charlotte Osei and her paymasters out before Ghanaians even get in on the action.

Personally when I sent my child to school his old mattress could not be found and upon further interrogation I was told it was burnt. Good the students have rejected this so called offer. I think EC is wrong on this one. Time will tell you do not favor one party against the other. If you want strict rules and laws then I believe that all the parties will be disqualified. Then what happens. A banana republic?

A Form not properly filled out is a recipe to disqualify an applicant/ aspirant.And disqualification is part of the administrative processes.

If not, I will tell you that the smallest mistake or discrepancy in information will have your form thrown away.

Again, let me give you an example: I once submitted a German university admission forms on behalf of a friend who was then in Ghana.

The admissions office clerk detected that my friend did not account for 1 year in his CV - and that was the end of his dreams. Reason: German university admission requires that you write everything about you, from primary school to the highest academic qualification and provide ALL certificates. If you don't do that, you are out!

That is the way the EC should be opertaing and it ts doing so.

Paa Kwesi Nduom is a man I respect.He, like 12 other fellow Ghanaians aspired to becoming President of this country. Reports from EC indicate that these aspirants DID NOT or COULD NOT satisfactorily and honestly complete the legally required nomination forms. Paa Kwesi now threatens to derail the whole electoral process because of his own failure to ensure the forms were properly, correctly and legally completed. These aspirants, who could not take the trouble to complete their nomination forms correctly, want to rule/govern Ghana and direct our national development endeavours. Any wonder this country is in such a mess. Ndoum has only himself to blame for what he calls "clerical mistakes". Better luck next time, Paa Kwesi.

Dr. Nduom, I am sure you know there are rules and stipulations governing the electoral process. That is more the reason why serious attention MUST be given to how the application forms are completed. If you give ground for irregularities and there is enough evidence to support that, there will be sanctions to that effect. The problem does not lie with the EC but with the type of administration you have in your party. You cannot claim exclusivity to the law. Tough, but that is the way it is!!
