  This PRO shd just shut up because he is not making sense. Is it a crime to reward deserving staff? Is it bank policy to do so? Is this the first time? Is it tax payers money? So why can't this PRO defend the institution but is flip flopping. The issue is not about award of contract or not? If this issue had not come out the watches would have been bought so defend the purchase of the watches. I suspect the pro ha not been briefed well hence his confusion. Is it the case that because of this useless noise in the public that provision in the conditions of service will be cancelled? This is pure incompetence.
