Ghanaians will therefore not see the end of their problems until the USELESS NDC government is voted out in 2016. JOHN MAHAMA DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING AT THE PRESIDENCY. Cancel the contract immediately. This is daylight robbery from the public purse. The key culprit is the person who got the backhander from the sole-sourcing scam. Find him/her and prosecute.

You talk about the poor economic situation in the country and take it as the reason that staff of the BOG who have served the nation honestly for 30 years or more should not be rewarded with gold watches.I find such an argument as preposterous and unwarranted.Is it the BOG staff who caused the nation's economy to be unsound?You talk about the BOG staff having two pensions.What is wrong with that?The BOG is an autonomous body and has the right to put in place measures to cushion the financial hardships of its staff when they retire.Rather the BOG should be praised for putting in place sound and progressive pension policies in place for its staff.If the government feels that BOG pension arrangements[especially giving gold watches] for its staff are unacceptable it has the right to intervene.The hullabaloo over the watches gift to BOG retirees is disgraceful and uncalled for.There are ghanaians who are even trying to make political gains out of it even though the gold watches retirement package has been in place for years.I salute the BOG for the premium it places on the welfare of its staff.I hope that in the interest of the financial soundness of their staff when the retire other organizations will emulate BOG's rewarding,progressive pension practices.

They should stop telling us the money is coming from their budgetary allocation,that money belongs to tax payers,they did not do Kayayee to raise the amount, if their budgetary allocation is too much for them they should give the rest back to government,we are sick and tired of some organization duping the country for the comfort of themselves,these are the reasons why they keep imposing many taxes on Ghanaians,they benefit from all these money they advise governments to impose on us,Terkpeh should be bold to stop that nonsense,I believe the bank falls under his ministry.
