The requirement for the first two are the same. The requirement for the last is just like the universities - aggregate 24 or better. When the nursing schools were turned into tertiary, only the last category I mentioned earlier qualified. But in cancelling the allowance all three were affected. The first two are still certificate courses and don't qualify for student loans. The law is being amended to enable them qualify. The third category is already enjoying the Student loans scheme. To prevent the first two from being unduly disadvantaged while the needed amendments are being done, govt decided to give them allowances of ghc 150. Why is this difficult to understand? Dr Baah shd learn a little and stop embarrassing himself.
