If African leaders stand up to the West, they will be able to righteously negotiate trade deals on the basis of compliance with their own agendas.
One of these agendas should be the non-proliferation stance against nuclear weapons; this stance should be especially targeted at the US.
Sincerely,
Apostle Mawuetornam Dugbazah

The best way to stop mass shooting is to tell those who manufacture the guns to stop selling them to the public. This is the best way to stop these incidents. Now, everyone is allow to buy a gun. Those manufacturers care about their money. They don't care about what would happen out there. This is a big issue in USA. Now, you have to pray for God protection before you go out there.

It is a joke for Ghana to state that it wants the UN to prohibit the use of nuclear weapons. In the first place the UN cannot prohibit their use and secondly nations which already have them are not prepared to get rid of them. They will not even support Ghana's stand.I believe strongly that nuclear weapons should be part of the military arsenals of every nation since they serve as a very strong deterrent against external aggression. Moreover those nations which have them have failed to get rid of them even though under the Nuclear non-proliferation Treaty they are obliged to do so.Those nations which do not have nuclear weapons are just sitting ducks for those which have them and are prepared to use them whenever appropriate.Unfortunately my country Ghana is one of them.African nations should wise up.At least Africa should have a central nuclear deterrent to protect african nations from unwarranted external aggressions. The world has become so volatile for african nations to take their security for granted.
