... . The Accra Psychiatric Hospital has suspended admissions for new cases, Starr News has learnt.

The hospital has also stopped operations at its Outpatient department.

This is the second time in two months the hospital has had to take such an action over the shortage of food and medical supplies.

A nurse and a member of the hospital’s PR team, Emmanuel Febiri, told Starr News their suppliers are demanding full payment of debts owed them before resuming service to the hospital.

“Our suppliers were expecting that monies owed them are paid to the last penny but that didn’t happen and they are demanding that if their monies are not paid, they won’t supply and even if they pay them all, we equally need money to run the facility. We don’t have money to run the place as we speak now, even common pen to write we don’t. And as a result, we cannot continue to to admit new cases,” he bemoaned.

Prof, since assuming the chairmanship of the peace council, you failed and disgraced us all by your inability to marry peace with justice, when you have preached and taught in churches over and over again that there can be no peace without justice. One wonders how you became afraid of that simple word 'justice'.
It is for this reason alone that we would have been better off if you had implemented your desire to resign from the position. Sometimes we feel ashamed that you were once the head of our church. We find it difficult to decide which of your pronouncements to follow and which to ignore, since we have lost confidence in your leadership. Please, it is still not too late for you to leave the council and allow a more competent colleague to take over in order that the council would become relevant to the aspirations of the people called Ghanaians.

Some stupid idiots claimed to be working for the ruling ndc and their supporters are committing serious political violence to the opposition parties and against the state with impunity. The police are not doing nothing and you are not saying nothing. The unprecedented thievery and corruption in John Mahama and his incompetent administration is so clear and what's the peace council saying about that. The conduct of the Ec is very suspicious and dangerous but you don't say nothing about it. Ghana is for all Ghanaians and not for the criminally minded greedy bastards in government. LET THERE BE JUSTICE AND THERE WILL BE PEACE. You don't wait until it's too late when the citizens rise up against those incompetent thieves and criminals.
