It is time for every ghanaian to accept the fact that our country need to be developed. We cannot afford to continue with the old fashioned locomotive system. Anytime there is need to improve on our commuting system, taxi and trotro drivers will protest and back their actions up with strikes but this behavioural attitude is pushing us backwards as a nation. We cannot continue with the same system forever at a time when every nation is fighting for technological advancement. If we continue to succumb to these illiterate drivers who do not understand the importance of modernisation, we are never going to move forward as a nation and therefore the government must pay deaf ears to their demands. If the government fails to deliver the best modern system for our commuters, the same people are going to lambast the men and women who are in charge of our helm of affairs. I don't see the reason why we should encourage these nutshells who behaves negatively towards the progress of our dear nation. Instead of condemning their barbaric actions, some opposition bigwigs will rather side with them to sabotage the good work of the sitting government. This in my view is not going to help us as a nation. I am therefore advising these illiterates to call off their planned strike and accept the relocation plan so that our country can move forward instead of backwards.
