A-Plus dares Kofi Adams to take him to court

A-Plus A-Plus

A-plus has challenged the National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress, Kofi Adams to declare his asset if he is not guilty of the issues raised in his latest song 'Aben be bom' and take him to court.

In a recent interview with Nana Antwi-Bosiako on Amsterdam based Hi-radio, the controversial hip-life musician stated categorically that Kofi Adams responds to the issues He raise about him as a national campaign coordinator of the ruling party was poor rhetoric. Kofi Adams and the ruling NDC are therefore not worthy of Ghanaians votes.

According to A-plus the onus of proof is not on him as a musician who puts words on a beat to make a song to sensitize electorate. The onus is on Kofi Adams as a politician to prove to Ghanaians that he Kofi Adams is not corrupt, he has not stolen any money, show Ghanaians the source of his money, declare his asset and sue him A-plus for defamation of character.

A-plus argued that he has been in the business of making critical music of the political system since 2001. In 2008 He made “Obi nka se” which favoured the NDC who were in opposition at that time. The ruling NDC at that time hailed him as a prophet of truth. Now he speaks the same truth that is not in their favour and they accuse him of taking money for the Nana Akufo-Addo's Campaign.

According to A-plus no party in Ghana can pay him to make music for them because his music is worth 1million dollars. He does not take peanuts from politician. The NDC did not pay him when made “ obi nka se” in 2008. Neither has the NPP paid his this time.

Clearing the accusation of Kofi AdamS, A-plus stated that he does not even smoke cigarettes more so to try weed or drugs. He stands for truth and he has a double-edged sword. If you do not do the right thing then his sword will be against you. He conclude the interview with the security issue his music pose to him and his vision for Ghana when asked if has ambitions to become the president of the nation.
