when it comes to economics and currency issues, there is nothing wrong with doing everything in dollars from time to time bcos the dollar is easy to appreciate ....as for the ghc equivalents, its always possible to calculate that during discussions bcos of the prevailing exchange rate figures...so please let us not confuse ourselves and each other by trying to joggle both ghc and dollar simultaneously....ndc is so so so afraid of constantly using dollar values bcos when dollar values are used, it is very easy to assess the strength or otherwise of the economy, and hence the performance or otherwise of the ndc...

I did undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Sheffield and Nottingham.The UK Gov't didn't give me or any other student any thesis allowance.All these expected payments from Gov't must stop and Ghanaians need to learn to stand on their own two feet.You are responsible for your life and nobody else. You all need to learn to ask what you can do for the Nation and not what the Nation can do for you.Continue looking up to others to change your lifes and you will forever live in ghettos.Yes,politicians in Ghana are corrupt but that cuts across all political parties.To think other leaders are not corrupt except Prez Mahama is the height of stupidity and perhaps delusional.

In the UK graduate students pay their tuition fee and accommodation expenses. Scholarships are rarely available for graduate students. It is time we change our mentality and take some responsibilities for ourselves. Over reliance on government to do everything for us is what is drawing as back.

i believe people should ask questions rather than insult when they have limited knowledge about a particular issue. i also believe that there are lots of guys commenting here with insults who will soon be looking forward to pursuing further (Graduate) studies.
For ur information, these students are entitled to the bursary and thesis grant.
