Police brutality???? Why don't you leave that your utopia and descend to the hell in Ghana. Remember these are armed robbers willing to kill for a mobile phone and some few cash. Fighting crimes with under equipped police force presents peculiar problems in a third world country like ours. We can't fix the indiscipline in the country with soft stance. Better still I suggest you join the Ghana police force and show them how to arrest hardened criminals without roughing them up. You must be living on a different planet to think that the Ghana police are using excessive force because if those two were caught by ordinary citizens they both would be dead anyway! The truth is Ghanaians are fed up with these rats.
If you want to blindly copy "human rights" bullshit from the west, go ahead. But let me quickly remind you that capital punishment is still practiced in most states in the U.S.. May be not so much in Europe, perhaps because of their advanced social welfare programs. Even then, I wouldn't push my luck in the eastern blocks if I was a thief or an armed robber. In the last 24 years, how many executions have been carried out in Ghana? Go ahead and help turn Ghana into a haven for criminals across West Africa with your "human rights" none sense!. And oh economic hardship should never be an excuse to commit violent crimes so give us a break!
