These NDC people are so incompetent they fail to realize their own folly. How do you suspend transfers because of 2016 elections and turn around and transfer such high level personnel. Look at the postings and you will understand what they are trying to do. Position their favorites closer to areas they intend to bring in their foreigners or ECOWAS voters. They do not want the police force to work efficiently to control their intended crime. They are also leaving people in place and bringing weak superiors so that their NDC subordinates could control the area while the boss is still trying to relocate. This Drunkard IGP should stop this nonsense.

Tranfers are not fun for anyone because one has to relocate and start "life" all over again. The destabilization of school activities for the children and the spouse having to seek transfer to join the other service member spouse or put their marriage in peril for an unaccompanied transfer all contributes to the anxiety of being transferred. The nature of service members, especially the police service demands that these officers be relocated very often to dispel any corruption tendencies. I will not read anything into these transfers because another police administration under another government will do the same and those unaffected today will also cry foul. The resentment and cries will not for a political reason but for mere inconvenience.
