He didnt rush! the salaries of the military is not detrmined by JM so if there is a new development regarding their salary and deserve more than the earlier 1 one dollar announcement, JM has to give it to them.

Isn't that and insult to sensibility and intelligence of our cherished military officers who had to agitate and murmur before the increment? So whether or not there's increment Mahama will surely go.So when you add Mill's increment and that of Mahama's you have $8 as compared to Kufour's $11.

I fully understand your point but I see it differently. In a democracy, insulting words serve as a check on dictatorial tendencies. What isn't acceptable is inciteful or hateful speech. If the citizenry feels that their welfare has improved as a result of good governance, they'll respect the government by default. Similarly, if they experience hardships they must be freed to express their hardship. If a government muzzles free speech it'll end up stealing elections or breeding a revolution. Your advice to Ghana web is not a good option. Stifle free speech and risk a revolution. A word to the wise is enough!!

Stupid comments. At 1,332 dollars, Kuffuor was paying 25 dollars per say. Was he also stealing the money? What you idiots don't know is that the soldier while on peacekeeping mission is not on his own. In fact he continues to take his salary back home. Soldiers on contingent missions are camped and trained at Bundase Camp at government expense, go through medicals at government expense, snd are kitten or the operations. Ghana could have opted not to take part in any operations. However, one of the reasons why we opt to take part is that, as a developing country with limited budgetary support for the Armed Forces, we are able to make some few savings from the reimbursements which is used to support armament and other equipment acquisitions, support in overseas and local training courses etc. The prudent management and use of these resources are the reason why our Armed Force, is able to carry out its functions effectively even when normal budgetary allocations are inadequate. So the Mischief must stop. The Armed Forces must not be dragged into your useless political game.
