Has Ghana got the mechanism in place capable of regulating irresponsible media reportage? Even if these institutions or bodies exist , are they any effective and efficient? No, they are rather ineffective and deficient.
If we as a nation wish to emulate or epitomise advanced practices that is evident in the developed world, then we must put our institutions into action and operational; but not as failures .Ghana's young democracy is fragile and needed to be nurtured and protected. Democracy sterns from a collective effort and builds on strong institutions free of partisanship.

National peace and security depends on you, the E.C. chair.If you allow John Mahama and his government to dictate to you, then, you are trampling down our democracy, peace and security. Strenghtening the police and army so that they can crack down the opposition in case of a rigged elections will not do the trick.Remember, Rwanda, and others all have the police and the army yet those carnage took place. My advice to the E.C chair is that peace before, during, and after the elections depend on her. If she continues to do the bidding of the Mahama government, then the unexpected might happen so she must be very careful.
