  When I visited some villages in Ghana early this year, I was amazed and shocked to find government has provided water boreholes in the villages that were close to private pit latrines outside the houses. The underground water level may be shallow, which can be contaminated or polluted by the private pit latrines. One may be drinking one's own faeces.

  I sometimes wonder and when one mentioned sanitation problems in Ghana almost every where you go from Accra to Kulungugu on the border with Bokina/Faso .

  I sometimes wonder and when one mentioned sanitation problems in Ghana almost every where you go from Accra to Kulungugu on the border with Bokina/Faso .
  It's really sad not to hear any of our Presidential candidate making mentioned about the sanitation problems in the Country. I have also been asking myself why don't we consult a Country any other like Holland who are specialists in the field of sanitation, underground sewerage systems and landscape.We can hand over this projects to them for a period of up 5 to 10 years all over the Country for it construction. The same can be done to our Railway systems which also has been neglected over the years, that also can be giving out to a foreign country. We have the Chinese, Switzerland , France , Germany, Japan , and even India, Brazil and South Africa or Australia. We have also qualified Ghannian engineers who could work side by side with these countries when the need arrive. I hope this railway line will be extended throughout the whole country. As the saying goes Time is going Time isn't waiting for Nobody like That? .
