NPP's sickness is that, they believe they are the only people that have sense like in the scenario of ''Animal Farm''. They believe that, all others are incapable of thinking like them - as we say in Ghana, they believe, only they wash their faces downwards; all others wash theirs upwards. So they will go to Ghanaian voters and tell them, " See ooo, President Mahama is president for only NDC. Vote for Akufo Addo because he will be president for all Ghanaians."
The NPP logic here is that, for the President to be president for the whole country, he must never exercise his prerogative of mercy as contained in Art 72 of our Constitution when the convict involved has a link to the President's party. In other words, if the receiver of the President's mercy is not linked to the President's party, then the President is indeed president of the whole country. For instance, when the President showed mercy to their (NPP) MP who had been jailed for 25 years, the President was acting like president for all Ghanaians. How ridiculous!
The therapy for NPP's malady will be dispensed when "their emperor without clothes" is soundly rejected by voters on 7th December.

My question is has the spirit behind the constitution applies to only the president powers? the same constitution gives the same powers to the judiciaries and they fully applied it in this case without looking at the spirit behind the constitution. I want somebody to advice me..... am at loss. NPP and its media want to create some kind of hatred between the executives and the judiciaries in other to score cheap political point.
