The only reason why there seems to be peace in the NPP now is that Oquaye and his Akyem Mafia hooligans have stopped their heinous attacks because they achieved their goal of using violence and dubious machinations to get Afoko and Agyapong out of Office.

It does not make any sense that Afoko would be soliciting for violence to destroy anything that he would be doing to lift the NPP up as a Chairman of the Party.

Mike Oquaye is a liar, a hypocrite and an intellectual fraud, who like many of the Akufo-Addo cabal, have been trying hard to re-write Ghana's History and attempting to misdirect people's attention from their shallow values and perverted political philosophy.

I don't get it. Anyone who does not see or feel the peace in the NPP after the exist of Paul Afoko, must be dead against the forward march of the party to victory in peace. In the first place, it was all wrong to have elected Afoko who has had no previous experience in party management at any level, including a polling station organization. His elevation to the highest level of the party surprised him. It gradually got into his head and thereafter, began to believe he could use the position to attain anything, financial or otherwise, for himself. He has been a huge disappointment to all those who may have put in a word for his campaign also, to the many innocent delegates who cast their votes. Are they not all losers, in the face of the turbulence that characterized Afoko's reign? Besides the leaks, sacking of party officers, unscheduled meetings and the like we're rife. One such instance, led to the death of the NPP Upper East party chairman. One of the culprits suspected to have carried that dastardly act, is Afoko's own brother, Gregory Afoko. Would not a sensible party chairman, moulded in the true Danquah/Bussia/Dombo tradition, resign his position or, ar least, step aside at this point?
But Afoko knowing, he has been well resourced to do damage to the NPP, chose to deep his heels deeper, to afford him the chance to do his masters will. Afoko planned more invasions into the NPP headquarters. One swoop ended the life of a party supporter in Asawasi, Ashanti Region. More were to follow, one of such, was the attack on the NPP head office in the dead of night. The men who did the act, are still walking the streets of Accra, free men. All these, stalled prosecutions of people caught in Afoko's acts gone wrong, should tell all right thinking Ghanaians, the long arm behind the now disgraced and rejected ex Osono party chairman. I am in agreement with Prof. Oquaye, Afoko's absense at the helm of the party has brought peace. Does anyone near me has a broom?
