However, this looks fishy, especially the set up to kill the handcuffed guy.Even so, if he is a confirmed robber, so be it.
We should be careful though. Unscrupulous police officers can kill anybody at all and tag him as an armed robber so that the lack of sympathy for armed robbers will ensure that he gets away with it. I have heard of police officers who have threatened to kill someone and report him as a robber during a disagreement over a girl! Hmmm
