There is not only nothing wrong with dressing in African garb, but whilst in Africa, it is more sensible and appropriate! With the heat and humidity which is Africa, being dressed in European attire is downright nonsensical.

We don't even have an identity. We have rundown everything Ghanaian so much that there is no statement made by the so-called educated without reference to America or an European country. We dress, eat, talk mimicking Europeans. Who are we?In this tropical Ghana you see the blackman in 3-piece suit in the sun, sealed ourselves in oven like buildings and burning energy with careless abandon and we say we are enlightened or civilised We call our gorgeously dressed women in kaba CWT;cloth-wearing-type while our women wear skirts and tops exposing sensitive parts of their bodies and this is decency to the dogs. What do we have and where do we stand. Copying the west? Very sad. Even our people who are in the west are yet to be accepted as human beings. We are here imitation and trooping in droves to the West to continue the slave chain .Who leads the emancipation drive.

If you really read the bible you will get to know how Ethiopians (representing Africans) for instance are lauded on different occasions in the Old Testament for the beauty of their apparels. And do note that our Northern brothers and sisters were wearing coton dresses long before thge Europeans arrived in our regions. They were not wearing "danta". Another distractive tactic by Satan to exchange the word of God for Africanism.
WHAT NEXT?
Will the enemy and his human agencies embrace the traditional religion of the occultic ancestral worship and its idolatrous worship services of the emergent church pastors?
Unbeknown to many is the doctrine of the immortality of the soul and Sunday sacredness-- two sacred institutions in the emergent churches, and the platform which unites churches in the controversy between good and evil which ushers in the Antichrist, the head of Babylon.
Sunday sacredness, a child of Rome, is stealthily forming a triad with spirirtism
from apostate protestants, and false prophets in their fight against God's people "who keep the commandments (all of them--including the Sabbath) of God, and the faith of Jesus." Revelation 12 :17

You cite all these platitudunal passages from the Bible as if the Bible is infallible.
Ever read passages condoning slavery with it's resultant post trauma effect on the victims and their descendants?
And, if you look right down to it those Bible passages could be found in our African philisophies-others who look down on African contribution to civilization call it "African proverbs."
Folks, let's cleanse our mindsets of these foreign ideologies which from the get go were imposed and designed to CONTROL our behavior
Those high priests with their gaping baboobs are - to me, and many Africans- the spaws of the Trojan horses.
Africans got to ferret them out and expose them for what they trully are- saboteurs and agents of a long ago and, an entrenched NGO'S.

Stephen Sackey, your ad hominem comments, however it may seem to you, reveal only man's ideology which is as temporary as man himself. What happened to the great ideologues of the world like Mao Tse Tsung, Hergle. Hitler. Stalin, Buddha etc? Aren't they all dead? Can they recall their ideologies in their graves? Certainly, not. Ideologies are as temporary as man and his world.
Your description of a quoted text as platitudinal is unfortunately. You see there is only one truth. How we understand the truth may vary at different times, but that does not invalidate the truth, things as they really are. In Christianity the inerrancy of Scripture is based on the sole fact that truth is a Person, Jesus Christ. He himself stated "search the Scriptures, because in it, ye think ye have eternal life and they are they that testify of me." John 5:39. And he again revealed himself to his audience, "l am the way, the truth, and the life...." John 14:6. Don't you agree with me that what the church needd is Jesus, the Word of God?
Why make Africanism a reason for worship?
