Get your facts right! You guys conveniently have a short memory on issues that indict you. Remember Fremah Busia's allegation against her former boss, the Security Capo under Kufuor's Regime, Francis Poku?

Weapons were being illegally and clandestinely imported into Ghana then, according to Busia. And Kofi Wayo could hardly have been part of that.

The fact that such a massive amount of high-powered weapons could be so easily trafficked to and from Ghana should be our focus for discussion. This means our Security apparatuses are inefficient or dangerously corrupt. And Ghanaians should not feel safe when they sleep. We should sleep with one of our eyes open.

The Papers on the Weapons could be traced to whoever were involved in the shipment. But I strongly believe that they might have been originally imported from a dealer in the USA to be used in Ghana, and certain change of circumstances made that possibility remote and the weapons had to returned to the USA where they came from to, at least, be resold, or for partial refund of the cost.

We should delve deeper into this to find out who was behind it all. I have a suspicion they might have been imported to be used by the violent Militia that were being trained by the South African Mercenaries.

So far as this consignment had documented papers stating that these were decommissioned weapons, it definitely means that someone from one of these 2 Minitries was involved in the transaction.

This individual has to be either at the Ministerial and or Chief Director level.

If the story is true, the consignment might be returned goods that could not be delivered on importation from the USA or elsewhere.

It is not very long ago that a Ghanaian was said to have been arrested in the USA for attempting to smuggle weapons to Ghana. Ghana does not manufacture weapons of that nature locally. So, someone either imported them into Ghana as the final destination but could not take delivery of them. Or, the weapons were simply routed through Ghana to some final destination elsewhere, given how easy it has been to maneuver contraband goods among our Customs.

The Ports Authority in Ghana must be taken to task on this, if the papers on the weapons are legitimate forwarding, or export documents.

I suspect the Akyem Mafia as being responsible for the weapons' original arrival in Ghana. The Mafia might have imported the weapons for the violent Invisible Forces to cause mayhem in a likely post-Akufo-Addo loss of the Elections. But following the exposure of their clandestine activities involving the Mercenaries, they then found it difficult to keep them, and arranged to have them returned to the USA where they could have been purchased in the first place. They need their money back to fund their campaign.

Ghana should call on the US government to dispatch the FBI to Ghana and Spain to investigate this. I smell some stinking fish.

For all you know the guns may be coming rather from either the USA or Spain to Ghana. Our government must be vigilant at our ports of entry.
