Maca has been highly revered for over 2,000 years in Peru. According to legend, the Incan warriors ate Maca for strength and endurance before going to battle. The Spanish Conquistadors called it the “sex herb of the Incas.” Today it is known as “Peruvian Ginseng”. Modern studies suggest that Maca may promote libido, sexual potency and energy.

What do the following countries in common: Gambia, Venezuela, Belarus and Haiti? They are some of the world's worst-performing economies and they all have lower interest rates than Ghana. What a shame!

So the economists know the truth but government officials will not allow us to say it. The heat started since 2014 but all they say is, the economy is resilient. When something is resilient, it doesn't go down, it stand firm or still or it forces it way forward.
You depend on borrowed monies to do the little you are doing with the too much noise, yet you want a second term in office.

A renowned Economist and Lecturer at Kumasi Polytechnic, Mr Kusi Boafo has backed the findings of CDD that the economy of Ghana is nothing good to write home about as every economic indicator shows that the country is in difficult times.
Mr Boafo is political and not economics. Where is the solution? President Mahama summoned all the solutions possible. What is lacking is a single African market to absorb all our industrial products, eradicating aid and extreme poverty which are distorting the market in perpetuity and creating SMEs to balance imports and create jobs. Prez Mahama is tackling the energy, IMF and the corruption and our import dependency problem. Let Ghana move on with positive focus with minimum politics. Ghana has ability to eradicate extreme poverty and aid

Do you really believe our problems are due to the lack of a single African market and, do you really believe that Mahama is actually taking appropriate steps to fix the economy? You must be one of his senior sycophants.

Prez Mahama is building all these infrastuctures. Let us focus with him and reduce diversionary partisan politics. Ghana infrastructure building is the issue

Dr Glah, note - infrastructure is financed from taxing wealth creation, even if it's done through borrowing. So, if you destroy wealth creation, like Mahama's done, you have less for infrastructure development - SIMPLE.

To be able to solve the unemployment problem, we have to look at the main causes of unemployment The tale that 'I will solve the unemployment case when I come on board' is a promise only.
What are the theoretical causes of unemloyment? They are: Unemployable (residual unemployment); voluntary; casual; seasonal; fictional; technological; export; structural; and, cyclic or general unemployment. Where do we belong?
What are the causes of rural unemployment? Some are: subsidized tractor mechanization; anti-export agricultural prices; self-sufficient food prices; over-emphasis on direct government investment schemes; and, lack of research and development policies and programs geared to local factor endowments. Where are we?
Causes of urban areas unemployment. These include: insufficient supply of co-ope-rant factors; population explosion; factor price distortions; rising labour productivity; increasing gap between rural and urban incomes;urban bias in provision of social services; unbalanced educational expansion; tied aid; political, ethnic and religious barriers to internal and external migration; and ecological explosion.
Where are we?
Obviously, to solve the unemployment problem in Ghana is not going by MOUTH. To create an undefined environmental 'kini nko' can never work Note that graduate unemployment is not mentioned. It should be placed under unbalanced educational expansion. The degree cert. is for "gye ko didi and not gye ko hwehwe agyuma"'

ON ECONOMY OF,IT SEEMS TO ME,WE STILL DO NOT KNOW HOW ECONOMIC GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT IS PROMOTED.
THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT AN INSURANCE COMPANY OR A CAR FIRM TO DO EVERTHING FOR ITS CITIZENS IN A COUNTRY.
IT IS AT PRIVATE SECTOR THAT, A TRUE MARKET SYSTEM WORKS, THE USE OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, SCIENTIFIC INNVATION AND CREATIVITY BY ITS EDUCATED WITH DEGREES AND PHD TITLES, A QUALITY SKILLED WORKFORCE AND TO CREATE DYNAMIC INDUSTRIES, MANUFACTURING(INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT)PROCESSING PLANTS AND TO PROPEL ECONOMIC GROWTH, EMPLOYMEMT OPPORTUNITIES, INCOME, CONSUMER SPENDING AND BETTER STANDARDS OF LIVING.
AS A SOI CALLED ECONOMIST,HE HAS INDEED DISQUALIFIED HIMSELF, BECAUSE,ECONOMICS TEACHES INPUT AND OUTPUT.
WITH THESE SHALLOW MINDS,FAILING TO BE OBJECTIVE IN THEIR ARGUMENTS,THE NATION HAS STILL A LOING WAY TO GO TO MEET ITS ECONOMIC DIFFICUTIES AND CHALLENGES.
ARE GHANAIANS EDUCATED FOR NOTHING,TO SIT,WAIT,WATCH AND PRAY,TO WAIL AND TO CRITICISE THE GOVERNMEMT.
BE PART OF THE SOLUTION.
