A law that was enacted in 2007 has been operationalized in November, 2015, not too long after Nayele Adu Gyamfi decided to go down alone, ostensibly, for her accomplices to carry the fight for her freedom.

Has the Dust SETTLED enough for this Prisoner Transfer not to be a Political Issue when we are only a few months to the Elections?

prisoner transfer is good but it won’t feed Ghana and make jobs and put money in our pockets? And it won’t make the cedi stronger against the dollar?

Revenue mobilization for development goes back to more than 130 years ago. Cocoa, gold, diamonds, bauxite, oil palm, manganese, nickel, timber exports financed development projects.

Takoradi Harbor
Tema harbor
etc

Eastern Region contributed in no small way to the development of Ghana. Cocoa, diamonds, oil palm, timber and some gold from Akyem and cocoa from other parts of the Eastern Region contributed in no small way towards these development projects.

It is really good if the UK would assist Ghana to make the necessary reforms with regards to prisoners care and apprenticeship while one is in prison to make them useful citizens when they finish their prison terms to join their families at home.The presnt system makes the poor prisoners become haddened criminals where some of them had gone there to learn skills of criminality from mafia prisoners and come to practicalise it when they come out.
