When you create a false impression to win election then the tendency to maintain that in order to win another is inevitable. Flashy cars, attending all funerals within your area and borrowing at hight interest rate to fund your political ambition to me can all be avoided. The leader of the opposition labour party was my MP when I lived in NorthLondon. He lives in a modesty house and drives an ordinary (Ford focus) car . In most cases when he hears of the passing of someone the best he does is to send card and this is really appreciated by the bereaved family. Till there is a revolutionary change in our thinking as a nation not much can be done to help us.
