    If the position comes with hardship, then why do they fight to retain their seats during primaries . I know mps who couldn't buy proper cars and now built big houses and using modern cars too.

    Teachers are more broke than MPs but they continue to train the human resource base of the country. Nobody ask any person to contest for the position of an MP. You are advised to shut up or refuse to contest at all levels
