  The NPP government in their eight (8) years in office never established one (1) single public university ........ but the NDC government has established the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) at Ho in the Volta region, and the University of Energy and Natural Resources at Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region. These two (2) public universities had already admitted students. Again, another university is being established at Somanya in the Eastern region to provide education to over 1900 youths in the country.

Again, there is ongoing construction of new airport at Ho in the Volta region which will opne up over 900 Businesses across the country.

Our major problem is evasion and avoidance of Direct Tax and we need to address that. As a middle income country we need to generate income internally to meet the infrastructure etc needs. Levying and Increasing indirect tax started since independence and nobody should try to ise it to score cheap political points.
