WHERE WAS GJA WHEN MOGABE WENT ON A SPREE OF INSULTING INDIVIDUALS OPPOSE TO NDC. ON A DAILY BASIS, MOGABE AND PANELIST WE INSULTING AND ATTACKING THE PERSONS OF PEOPLE WHO THEY DEEMED OPPONENT TO MAHAMA. GJA NEVER ADVISED HIM OR SPOKE TO HIM. NOW THAT HE HAS BEEN JAILED , YOU ARE HERE SAYING IS HARSH. THOUGH IT LOOKS HARSH, HE DESERVES IT AS HE BOLDLY CAME OUT A GAIN A DAY AFTER THE MAIN INCIDENT TRYING TO INCITE TRIBAL TENSIONS AND SAYING BECAUSE HE IS TANI, THE JUDGES WANT TO SET HIM AS SCAPEGOAT. HIS MIND WAS JUST ON THE MILLIONS HE WAS MAKING OUT OF MAHAMA AND HIUS BROTHER WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCIES. HE THOUGHT BECAUSE HE WAS DOING IT FOR MAHAMA, HE WAS ONTOUCHABLE. HE SHOULD HAVE RESEARCHED VERY WELL BEFORE HE EMBARKED ON THAT BARBARIC JOURNEY. ATLEAST HE HAS MADE MILLIONS FROM MAHAMA

How can any person in his rightful sense of mind say :the sentence is too harsh.A crime is crime no matter who committed it,how it was committed. The punishment for offenses relating contempt is discretionary and so long as the exercise of the discretionary power is within the ambit of article 295 of the constitution,no one has the right to question it. The GJA should learn to understand that there shall be no distinction in the face of the law and it application because :The law is no respecter of persons.

Ghana stands on the side of democracy and stands with our judiciary fully and completely against the agents of terrorism, against the agents of violence, against the agents of anarchy, against the agents of chaos, mayhem, murder, assassinations and death represented by the John Dramani Mahama NDC gov't and party, and on this day, on this 27th day of July in the year of our Lord 2016, we proclaim with a very loud voice and remain resolute in our conviction that NEVER AGAIN, NOT THIS TIME!!!!.
The pillars of our democracy will not be assaulted and rendered captive to the whims, caprices and avarices of the misguided few, at the expense of the whole, to the detriment of the socioeconomic development and growth of the collective, in this country using the levers of political demagoguery and opportunism.
Ghanaians are saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!.

Instead of a lesson what this decision will do is to polarize the country on party lines. It seems to me that the npp is abusing its goodwill with the apex npp judiciary and the petition which should have been thrown away for lack of merit was made to see the light of day therefore their complacency.
We would watch and see.For me the way I see it is that the sc is now playing politics with the judiciary and on a dangerous road.Contempt of court is suppose to be used sparingly but with these sc it is rather a way to glrory. It will never happen in a civilize judicial system.

Justice must not only be served but must be seen as served. When there is is a glaring case of bias there there is a problem. When Kennedy Agyapong declared war was he not set free by these same judges? Again when Sir John threatened the lives of those Supreme court judges and was cited for contempt was he not freed by the same court? By these actiosn of bias and prejudice by these judges are they not justifying the pronuncement of the contemnors? They should wait, one day they shall stand before the real supreme judge,God, to account for their evil deeds.

The sentence is too lenient GJA. The guys have been sentenced on contempt charges and they will face another serious charge of "threat of death" when released from jail. The GJA should condemn the threats. Meddling in the case that was before the Court, in the case of Abu Ramadan and the EC brought about the contempt, but the "threat of death" itself has not been dealt with. Wait and see.

To wit, it is the fool who says the harm is being done to my colleague and not to me, so I don't mind. The judges remember clearly what was done to their colleagues on June 30, 1982, including a woman who was nursing a 3-month-old infant. We cannot take the Montie 3 for a joke. I think the sentence was even too lenient.
