To those defending Charlotte Osei, let me tell you this. In any nation where any "thing" can mount a platform and challenge the Supreme court, that nation is bound to fail because the people in that nation do not understand the meaning of rule of law.

Ghana is no exception. The supreme court had instructed the EC chair to act and being a lawyer, why should she drag her feet? Commonsense is paramount and acting under the instruction of the SC has nothing to do with a certain political party but rather, the interest of the nation. Why was Charlotte Osei acting sluggishly? Without people, there is no political party and those who have sold their inner soul to political parties should think twice.

If Charlotte Osei is really a lawyer who understands what the Supreme court stands for, she should act within the orders of the SC and stop pandering to NDC. She is exposing herself as being bias.

Nobody is forcing the EC boss out of her office, but currently Ghana's EC is on course to be the most discredited institution in the whole world and to what ends? The known former NDC parliamentary candidate has brought the full weight of her partiality to her job and cannot reasonably ensure free, fair, transparent and credible elections and it is more than clear. The record and the evidence speaks for itself. It was not only 56,000 Ghanaians who registered with NHIS cards and that alone should force her out of office.

Things look up for the NPP because of voter fury over harsh socioeconomic conditions on the ground in Ghana and therefore Mahama will feel the full pressure of the people's frustration and anger at the polls.THE FORD EXPEDITION BRIBERY SCANDAL has even further eroded the confidence of the floating voters and the NDC has a serious credibility problem. With greater vigilance at polling stations, it will be difficult for the NDC and the EC to pull a fast one through shenanigans and doctoring of numbers.

Her attitude and utterances do not auger well for smooth, free and fair elections. The EC is supposed to be independent, but in reality, it is seriously aligned. Ghana deserves better. By their fruits, they shall be known, so says the Bible. She is paid with our money not the money of the ruling party and must be non partisan. Why should NDC defend her all the time? We smell a rat. If she has children to cater for them, she should take this piece of advice and leave that position as soon as possible. Nobody may kill her but would regret in the very near future by solely taking certain decisions, and would affect and drastically shorten her life.
