What can Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo boast of as his greatest achievement in life?
Is it Law or Politics, Education or Knowledge, Leadership or Service (He is uncertified in all of them)
In LAW you have no certificate to show it is your father’s chamber that is shielding you.
EDUCATION you are a drop out and I think your last genuine certificate would be your 3rd grade economics certificate in Legon.
POLITICS you are a bad commodity to be marketed so so loser! y3y3
KNOWLEDGE you are too stale to talk about anything because there is no substance in your discourse and whatever you say has no connection with reality (all crap) If not I am challenging you to tell Ghanaians what you know about Agriculture, Energy, Construction, and even LAW that you profess to be. All you know is Drug peddling. Y3Y3 Man
LEADERSHIP… BUE! BUE!!! ME WUOOO !!! SHS 1 class prefect is better in controlling his class than Nana Addo. If you cannot manage Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong how can you manage pure opposing intellectuals like Spio Garbrah
SERVICE… Everyone knows you to be a connection man. You fix drug peddlers by getting them out of prison or issuing them with diplomatic passports. You are also expect in fondling breast wherever possible
From his demeanour, family background, utterances, actions and inactions it is becoming more obvious who Nana Addo Dankwa Akkufo Addo aka “Odikro of no town” whose futile and nonsensical evidence presented to the great court of the land, champion by his “HIP POP LIAR Political Economist” Dr. Bawumia to deprive millions of Ghanaians a true choice is gradually becoming known to all.
It was by his actions that sent a grey signal to stakeholders of this country and scared majority of businesses especially the multi nationals and some local entrepreneurs to withhold their vibrant activities due to widespread of war mongering and collateral damage meted out to life and properties (especially when one considers the serial market burnings) which was looming in the country all because Nana Addo and his men have lost an election and they are simply refusing to accept defeat; when it was very glare that they have lost.
His great grandfather (JB Danquah) did same to Nkrumah and his father (Edward Akkufo Addo) followed the same traits, who was later imprisoned and now it is Nana Addo’s turn .
He is leading a campaign of indiscipline and has so far portrayed no decency in mannerism, character or in speech. His proverbial ill character in the use of vile words against his opponents is very abhorring and anti-social. His public speeches are out of date and have no connection with current trends of social developments. .
Unfortunately he is deep into it there is something wrong with the chemical constituents that form the brain of these Dankwas/ Busia’s? Are there no wise men among them? Or did their fathers die with all the sense that will guide them today? Well a decorated monkey remains a monkey; like father like son. None have morals…….KWASEATO LIKE THAT !!!!

With the right priorities this revolution will be achieved.
PRES MAHAMA’S LIMITATION CANNOT DETERMINE THE POTENTIAL OF ANYBODY IN GHANA
We have seen or heard of Ghanaians occupying very important positions in the world. Some of these individuals who readily come into mind are Mr. Kofi Annan and Dr. Ibn Chambass. Apart from Dr Ibn Chambass and handful others who have been involved in some partisan politics in Ghana, most of these distinguished personalities have not done local politics. If these people had not broken away from the dwarfish mentality many of the citizens have, they could not attain the height they have attained. We have the tendency to measure everybody against the yardstick we have set for our individual selves. This is very unfortunate. I will encourage those who are like this to read at least 70% of the books of the late Myles Munroe, one of the greatest motivational writers whose books are best sellers.
NDC communicators are all saying Nana Addo cannot realize the proposition that a factory will be established in each district and I ask myself a basic question: Are we being measured by the limitation of President Mahama? This could be the only reason why NDC communicators will say that proposal cannot be achieved.
One of the earliest topics I studied in Economics as a Business student was Opportunity Cost, Scale of Preference, Choices and other related topics. Are NDC communicators saying that with the level of borrowing done by President Mahama and the areas he decided to expend those monies and the high level of taxes the people are paying and the amount of monies thrown away in corruption, Nana Addo having high on his scale of preference the establishment of factories in each district, he cannot do it? This tells that the people we have put in charge of this nation are leading us to doom because of their understanding of national issues. If Nana Addo sets this as his priority it can be done easily with the feasibility studies pointing to its viability.
Today in our country the biggest challenge facing us is unemployment. Any responsible government which is to be formed by Nana Addo will put this high on its agenda (scale of preference). It is industries which employ in large numbers coupled with the enabling environment for the private sector, unemployment will be reduced to the barest minimum. This is what Nana Addo is up to but because the NDC knows very well this proposition will sink well with the people they will try to shoot it down. They wished they proposed it and I will not be surprised if they hijack it from now and let it become their mantra as they did with the Free Education proposed by Nana Addo in 2012.
This reminds me to advise the NPP not to take part in the IEA debate as advertised. They should only take part in any debate which the NDC agrees to be part of. Any proposition they make will be taken on board by the NDC who has proved to be good in plagiarizing.
I have so much respect for the IEA. It is one organization I aspire to be part of one day if I don’t decide to go into politics to save the mediocrity around. Even though I have not been delegated to speak for the NPP and Nana Addo, IEA should bear with the flag bearer knowing the game being played by the incumbent. The NPP cannot make the same mistakes it made in 2012.
I wish to deviate in my discussion to a matter very important to every Ghanaian. It is the case of electricity tariffs. The PAYE tax employees pay is determined on bands. It is the same methodology which has been adopted by ECG but implemented with the intention to cheat consumers. We are told that when a consumer’s consumption goes beyond the life line band the whole consumption is billed according to the rate of the band it falls into. The PAYE is not done like this. It is only the extra consumption which attracts the rate of the band beyond the life line. Any Accounting or Taxation student is aware of this but we all keep quiet and nobody complains. This sometimes surprises me when our intellectuals seat on their knowledge and do not make it available to society who has borne part of their education. It is very sad. Is it the writing which we cannot do or what?
What happened was done deliberately to rake money from unsuspecting consumers. The extra amount of money made from us for the past six months will not be refunded. Government was aware of this scheme to squeeze from the people like compound house dwellers who ordinarily will fall within the life line. I have witnessed the situation where a compound house in Ashaiman is living in darkness now because they cannot pay the high tariff slapped on them.
If Government claims it cares about the poor and the vulnerable and Ghanaians in general, it should order compensation for the people. The Life Line band should be expanded beyond the 50. The life line band (0 to 50) has been made to accommodate just the poorest of the poor. Just consider the next band (51 to 300). This band was made to capture most of the ordinary persons in the society. Unfortunately, the current arrangement has moved the poorest of the poor into the band of the ordinary persons so in effect nobody is benefitting from the life line.
The best solution to all these is to provide each household with a meter. This is the only way accountability will hold sway in the management of power by the people.
Let me take this opportunity to advise that as many consumer protection organizations should be formed from now. If we had this and they were to call for transparency in the manner the charges are computed, which are slapped on the consuming public some of us would have come out earlier on this matter. The problem with this country is many of us are corruptible. We cannot stand up to be counted for the truth.
The solution announced by the President will not offer any material change in the level of tariffs we will have to pay. The truth in all that this Government has not managed the finances of the country well at all hence the difficulty we are going through. Things will be worse in 2017 if we allow this incompetent group of people to be in charge of our affairs. Those who support the Government are those benefitting from the current corrupt system.
We should be ready to fight with our blood against any imposition. Today as I write these stories, I am unemployed and could easily get employed if I decide to sell my conscience. I live on hand outs from friends with my family. But I know I am fighting for a better tomorrow with this Government out of the way. I will put all my God given talent at the disposal of anybody ready to fight to liberate this country from this corruption and incompetence.

WILL KOMENDA SUGAR FACTORY BE A PROPAGANDA PROJECT?
There is nothing wrong for Government to create jobs thereby reducing the hardship the ordinary people are facing. It is also not wrong to save the scarce foreign currencies to help stabilize the exchange rate. But these two major objectives cannot be achieved without doing in-depth analysis of reviving the Komenda Sugar Factory.
There is a common phrase used by Economists – All things being equal. The Komenda Sugar Factory can only survive time if the right feasibility was done before reviving it. Companies don’t just become going concerns because politicians want to gain political points. These companies will not survive when they enter the competitive business environment.
The Komenda Sugar Factory is not an NGO. It is expected to be a profit making venture to be able to pay its expenses and generate revenue and be able to create value The products being manufactured will face competition in the business space. For it to gain competitive advantage it must meet the expectation of its patrons over its competitors. Gaining competitive advantage is not a wish but a reality. There are several conditions to be met.
There must be the availability of raw materials, in this case sugar cane. If the cane is available the quality is the obvious thing one should be concerned about. The process of manufacturing is another concern; will it be efficient to make the price of the final product attractive over others in the market? What are we going to do with the high manufacturing cost coming from utilities in particular?
Luckily this is not the first company revived or established by this Government. How are the others doing? Was it not the same fanfare when they were revived or established? History will always be a guide to take positions.
The call to Ghanaians to patronize Made-in-Ghana products will have to be intensified to ensure that good turnover is generated to keep the company afloat. We should also not forget about the strong desire of Ghanaians for foreign and quality goods; and whether if the price attached to the sugar produced will be affordable compared to similar products from other destinations.
These questions need to be answered and this brings into focus the Economists phrase – all things being equal. The theory we express is quite simple. The actual situation on the ground is very complex noting that we are competing intellectually with others. It is just not about what someone thinks. Human beings are social beings and make rational decisions based on the benefit they hope to gain from such decisions. It will not be an issue of whether the company is Ghanaian owned so all of Ghana will go for their sugar but then when the products are defective or the going price is beyond the reach of the average Ghanaian the people will not patronize them. A rational person like me will purchase sugar which is of quality value and at affordable price whether it is imported or manufactured in Ghana.
I want to challenge our journalists who are not into doing propaganda for Government to follow up on this company for at least three months from now. The running of the company should be as a matter of course. It should not be a nine day wonder after which the chips start to follow apart.
