Remember the UMB, AMERI, KARPOWER and UBA stinky deals all had something to do with the stashing away of Ghanaian moneys to dubious foreign entities . Now Togolese enjoy NHIS more than Ghanaians and NDC members are happy.
The other someone assessed health services with the NHIS card. The shocking news is that he was asked to go and buy common paracetamol. This happened right here in Ghana but Togolese come to Ghana to enjoy some these things freely.
The issue is without oil money Kufuor was able to implement free maternal care and proper health insurance to Ghanaians. Unfortunately, with all the oil money NHIS cannot afford common paracetamol to its subscribers

NDC’s are now multi millionaires and billionaires at the expense of the state and are very bold and proud about it. They are convinced they have stolen enough to even buy their votes to power. Don’t under-estimate them when it comes to corruption, they have in excess of $50 billion cash rigged through fake and unfinished projects at their disposal to buy the votes they want. So who then is causing the downfall of this nation? Are we all not guilty who have taken part in this loot? This is state loot from the top of the party chain, the President Mahama himself. Our Democracy in Ghana is only a thin charade of a Democracy under which no requisite Institution is well established to ensure the system works for all of us.

As it is now, we seem to be see it adequate with the freedom to vote and pursue private ownership in a pseudo-Capitalist environment that the flawed system has created.

In reality, however, only those few who could lie or bribe their way to Power are enjoying any considerable benefits of Democracy. Our Laws are only on the Books and are not duly implemented. The lack of the needed Institutions leave the cheating Politicians using us and our Assets for their selfish interests with impunity, with nothing to deter them or penalize them.

The exposure of the rotten Judges strongly tells the story of how our Democracy is corrupted to the core and we cannot expect any salvation from among the same Politicians who led us into that morass.

We need a really selfless, patriotic Politician who would ensure the right Institutions are built within the system to run our Democracy as it should be, and hawkishly demand Justice to meted out to all without fear or favor.

Our Parliament is only a location for similar minded looting Politicians to deliberate for their exclusive privileges at the expense of all others. Could anyone tell us what significant Law has been passed in the Parliament all these many years, since our First Republic, to effectively curtail corruption and guarantee equal access to opportunities in the Country?

That is why I see Akufo-Addo as no different from Mahama. As a Lawyer and former Attorney-General, Akufo-Addo has failed to lead the moral majority to stop Corruption, and retrieve our stolen assets back to the Nation. All his whining is so the voters would brush Mahama aside for him to fill his space and continue with the Loot.

Nduom could have done better had he stayed with the CPP and wisely steer the real Patriots in the Party to accept the realities of effective modern Democracy. But, he too, was driven by ego to form his own Party and place himself at the top to vie for the Presidency.

It seems the real patriotic leaders are still in the shadows and for some reason cannot come out to help salvage the Nation, now. But then, the longer they remain in obscurity, the more I doubt their patriotism, too. If these folks are real patriots, they should come out to lead. The lack of funds for these real patriots to campaign to replace these crooked Politicians must not deter the real patriots. What Bernie Sanders of the USA has shown is that if a Politician could boldly demonstrate his or her commitment to the People's real interests, the People would fund him or her to victory.

So, I wish any such Leader with that eligibility ought could emerge to capture the latent support of the moral majority before Ghana drowns in the pukish corruption of the current Leaders.

It was by his actions that sent a grey signal to stakeholders of this country and scared majority of businesses especially the multi nationals and some local entrepreneurs to withhold their vibrant activities due to widespread of war mongering and collateral damage meted out to life and properties (especially when one considers the serial market burnings) which was looming in the country all because Nana Addo and his men have lost an election and they are simply refusing to accept defeat; when it was very glare that they have lost.

I would need a similar hotel like the one he is building in Dubai in Singapore. He will have to buy me a house in the US, one in the UK, one in SA, one in Dubai all properly staffed. Bottom line I respect myself so much to allow for a President to loot my taxes to buy my vote whlist the country collapses and we all suffer.

As a Lawyer and a former Attorney-General, why couldn't Akufo-Addo go to Court to prove this and his many allegations against the Mahama Regime so that there would be no defense for the NDC to stay in Power?

All we hear is just this loud screaming of pervasive corruption and nothing concrete is done about it to stop it.

We have not even seen Akufo-Addo lead the moral majority in hastening the retrieval of all the Stolen Funds that Court has already ruled in the State's favor to be done.

If Akufo-Addo cannot even bring legal pressure to bear on the convicted culprits of corruption to refund the Funds they owe us, why should anyone believe he has what it takes to stop the corruption that is only speculated to be happening elsewhere in and around the Government?

If Akufo-Addo knows the President and his cohorts are using our Taxpayers' money to supply Landcruisers to certain entities to solicit for votes, why doesn't the NPP Flagbearer take the matter to the Courts to, first, prove the charge, and, second, have the Courts mete out the due penalties to the NDC? This casts a heavy cloud of doubt over Akufo-Addo's leadership abilities. Simply put, Akufo-Addo does not have the moral fortitude to see the correct things done through and through. He only whines for others to tow the line for some meager effect. He is wimpish, opportunistic and hypocrite.

Right now, it is all hoots and snarls that don't do anything. And I am inclined to believe the NPP Flagbearer would not do anything different if he were in the President's position, and would probably even do worse if voted to replace Mahama. After all, we all know about Akufo-Addo's own bribery of the NPP Delegates with GHC25 each that he claimed was to help pay for their transportation cost to the Primaries.

Well, why would his Mafia attach a note to such amounts offered to the Delegates asking them to vote for Akufo-Addo? As little as those amounts might be, that act of bribery underlies a cancerous habit among our Politicians from which Akufo-Addo cannot be exempted. It could be said that had he gotten more resources, he would have given much larger bribes than what he doled out to the Delegates.

Let Akufo-Addo shelve his crass hypocrisy and let others more qualified, like Bawumia or Alan, lead the NPP into the Elections. It is not too late, yet.
