Why is everyone talking about peace, peace but not talking about conditions that could lead to the breach of that peace? It's like the proverbial saying "everyone wants to go to Heaven but nobody wants to die".

It's critically important to address the conditions that could lead to the breach of peace rather than this hypocritical shouting on top of your voices on mountain top about peace.

Can Mahama and the NDC pledge and promise Ghanaians that their ambition to hang on to power will not be in the defiance of the will of the people? Have the NPP come to the realization that their greed is not worth the spill of a single Ghanaian blood?

Peace does not mean 'fama Nyame' . Is Mahama and the NDC willing to concede defeat and congratulate the winner should they lose the elections? Are they willing to step aside peacefully when they are rejected by the electorate without resorting to any underhand dealings?

The same thing applies to all political parties and of course their leaders. The EC knows and must come to the realization if they don't know that they hold the key to a peaceful and credible elections in Ghana. As the SC rightly said, We won't sit down unconcerned to allow the EC to plunge Ghana into chaos and violence.

I think what all Ghanaians must be demanding now is credible, transparent and fair elections without cheating and with the EC making sure there's a level playing field and they act as fair and impartial referee. Anything short will throw this country into chaos and that peace everybody is preaching will be elusive.
