How can Mahama and the NDC hand over juicy contract to a Burkinabe contractor whilst our local contractors have no jobs.
Remember the UMB, AMERI, KARPOWER and UBA stinky deals all had something to do with the stashing away of Ghanaian moneys to dubious foreign entities . Now Togolese enjoy NHIS more than Ghanaians and NDC members are happy.
The other someone assessed health services with the NHIS card. The shocking news is that he was asked to go and buy common paracetamol. This happened right here in Ghana but Togolese come to Ghana to enjoy some these things freely.
The issue is without oil money Kufuor was able to implement free maternal care and proper health insurance to Ghanaians. Unfortunately, with all the oil money NHIS cannot afford common paracetamol to its subscribers

The same NPP that looted Ghana while in office for eight yeas and also saw its sitting Member of Parliament convicted for drug dealing in the USA is simply trying to build an ant hill out of air. The same NPP under the administration of President Kufuor that looted Ghana government lands while taking millions of dollars in bribes from firms connected to off-shore oil drilling in Ghana now seems to know what corruption is.

This is the same NPP that is led by a clueless flagbearer Serial Loser Akufo-Addo whose own NPP members have labeled him as "incompetent and a monumental failure". What has NPP's message or lack of it got to do with this bribery Mahama has been exposed to have engaged in? Was it the NPP that advised Mahama and his errand boys to have this man write a letter specifically stating the car is a gift to Mahama? Was it the NPP that forced Mahama's Burkinabe contractor friend to admit to Manasseh the car was "a gift" to Mahama? There are questions to be answered by those jumping to Mahama's defense by rather attacking the NPP: Why was the vehicle declared as a used car when indeed, the giver of the gift insists it was a brand new 2010 Ford Expedition? If the vehicle was meant for the Presidency why did Mahama have to under-declare the value of the vehicle and paid lesser duty? Why did they have to pay duty at all for a vehicle consigned to the State? Since when has the vehicle been in the Flaf Staff House car pool? We are talking about a State Sponsored corruption championed by the president. It is not an NDC nor NPP affair. By the way, the NPP may have no message. Is that why president Mahama should create a message for them? The NPP may have no message, but Ghanaians have their own message. And that will be sent out loudly come November 7, or whenever.

This is appearance of evil or bribery, it stinks,humiliates,degrades, maligns the presidency of Ghana. It is the presidency, not Mahama! If he has no respect for himself, he should think of the nation and the presidency. What is wrong with these African leaders? Just close your eyes and imagine president Obama of US receiving a car as a gift from a contractor from another country or even an American? We have no sense of decency snd common sense! I go to take delivery of the car .I call the customs boss to identify myself as his friend in Toronto. I inform him about my car at the port. He then tell me not to worry about it. The next day the car is in my garage.

I have been watching all our heads of state and this has been going on for a long time. During Kuffuor & Rawlings time it happened all the time. Why are our Presidents so greedy? Is it in the constitution that all the gifts they receive on our behalf belongs to them? The state pays for all the bills eg. Fares, hotel bills, food etc and then have the audacity to take the gifts they receive on our behalf as theirs? I have never heard of such greed. Don't they have conscience? It's such a shame. However, this gift of a car, coming at the time it did, and the giver getting jobs after his gift connotes bribery. Oiling of palms, influencing the decisions of people in government. Secondly, this particular contractor has been handpicked for jobs and contracts sole sourced to his company after his 'gift'. What would we call this? A gift opens big doors for a man? And even his rates for building a wall smacks of thievery? How do we call this, Mr. Kwaku Baako?
Pls go back to the findings of the journalist and be objective. Do not sweep it under the carpet. If he had been tiger eye the ratings would have been different, i daresay. President Mahama allowed this nice gift to influence his judgement into sole sourcing and hand picking as has been the case lately.
