In the first place the judge erred and secondly the Niger Embassy must be an accomplice in money laundering by its citizen. By law, no one is allowed to carry cash under the international anti money laundering law, of which I believe Niger must be a rogue country not to be part of a signatory to it, to be arguing. He was caught on the Ghanaian soil, caught under international soil, the airport and he must be made to face the full rigors of that law.

You you are right about the judge but I think you are wrong about carrying cash, you can travel with any amount of cash so long as you declare that money to the authorities of the country you are leaving and the country you are entering which I believe this guy did not do, hence the seizure.
Afenyo Markin as a member of parliament should have recused himself from this case or decline to represent this guy who failed to declare money at the country's international airport,a man who is charged with money laundering,a member of parliament should be the last person to be defending such people,no matter how desperate he is to get money such people are not the ones he should be defending.
