Let us all understand and accept that when trying to create a totally new sector and the production of a sugar that is based strictly on local raw material input it takes time to get everything matching. If the sugar cane had been produced to early we would had then shouted where is the factory. The reality is that managing a manufacturing set up is much more complicated than trading or just making policy sitting in an air conditioned office. The earlier everyone understand this including government the better. When private sector industry cries for support and complains about so many problems government does not seem to care or understand. Maybe now they will.

Why does the Factory itself not know that their first sugar is coming out "by close of Friday"? But government know in Accra knows this exactly. Probably they know that the imported sugar which is going to be rebranded has already arrived at the Tema Harbour.
