I understood their points and gave them some time to think about their decision. They all agreed to be with me. We have been married for 7 years. We are all take trips together. We are all happy. I just showed this to my wives and they just laughed and said if the man had told them. They would either stay or leave. Polygamy is a choice. I just think that the woman should go through some counselling and see if she wants this kind of marriage or not. Thanks

I was once coming to my house, and saw a van with DC tag parking on my parking space. I signal to the intruder packed with blue wearing church folks of black religious group. Coming to think of it were baptist church. Why my parking space instead of visitors parking. While I signal them, a guy just jump from the van to fight me. However, bigamy is illegal in Ghana, the woman can take him to a divorce court in Ghana (CHRAJ handled my Aunt's divorce) ask for alimony whiles breaking of this traditional marriage since there will be many witnesses to testify they have been married and also send him to a normal criminal court to face punishment for bigamy

But take it from me as someone with 27yrs marital experience of a mixed type, there is no formula no one size fits all in marriage matters. Each situation is unique and must be handled with close reference to details. The lady in question is best poised to decide as the consequences of her actions will be borne by her primarily and in addition the children. She shouldn't think only about herself but also the children. If the other woman and children are not drawing battle lines and the man has been capable of providing for the two homes for the past 25yrs, it's a positive sign. Life is what you make it.

The morale of the story is that the woman had been happily married and her children are doing well. What should now change? Please bear this in mind when contributing. The other woman is also very happy. Two common law marriages. Should the counsellor come down with blood pressure or forge a way forward?The first wife knows about the second and she has accommodated the man. Now that the second had known about the first, should she also be accommodating to prove her love? She recounts that the man was not remorseful. How would he do it with children in both unions? Which children would have have regretted having? The love for her husband must not change please. Most men have mistresses, don't ruin your marriage please.

This is done with the prior knowledge of the first wife. In the begining there was only one man and only one woman, so there couldn't be polygamy. Later Jacob had two wives (properly and legally married) and God blessed them. David had many wives. There is nowhere in the Bible where God said ''I allowed that before but don't allow that today''.
When Paul said if anyone wants to be a Bishop/Elder/Pastor, etc, He must be a man but one wife means that there were people with more than one wives and these do not qualify, NOT because they are wrong in having two wives, but because Commitment to Church.
There are many men and women ready and qualified for Polygamy, yet they being prevented because of wrong teachings. Yet, these single women come like the flood of water and enter mariages causing beoken hearts. This will continue as long as single women also have feelings. And well to do men wlll continue to be tempted....and fall into such temptations.
Modify the counselling messages to reflect the Bible. You quote from Old Testament during offering when u want money. We prevent second wives from partaking in the Lord's supper but we are ever ready to take their offerings...
