The high cost of hydro bill is part of the deal with the IMF loan. Usually a foreign company affiliated with the IMF is behind this. The NDC has likely sold some stakes of the ECG to a foreign company that is close to the IMF. This means part or all of our bills are paid in dollars converted into cedis.
