if you had done engineering, you would have understood what calibration is, reason for pilot production, the shutdown, etc. We shouldn't allow partisan politics to block or overshadow our thinking or reasoning.

Where is wisdom when you need it? Why would anyone in their right mind borrow a colossal amount of money to revamp a factory first before planning how to get the raw materials to feed it adequately, which would usually take 2 to 3 years or more to realise? Who pays for the 2-3years plus of interest and the additional cost of maintaining a more or less idle factory? Since sugarcane is a seasonal product, stocks of sugarcane are required to keep the factory running especially during the lean season. Are there any wise people in government?

Why should the President rush to commission the factory if it was not ready to start production? Knowing very well that it was on it testing stage. What difference does it make in the date that the factory is closing down, it is still in June. Does it make sense for a factory to be commissioned and three days later it is closed? Is it not a waste of our time. Also if the raw materials were available why shutting the factor ups down? How can a factory that has nor put worked for even a week be shut down for maintainance. It is like buying a brand new car and the next day you take it to the dealership for maintainance. At least it should work for months before the scheduled maintainance. NDC, do not throw dust into our eyes. It is only illiterates who will believe this.
