Nduom got it wrong this time too. Do you know how educated the people from Sampa and Hamile are ? There are tens of thousands of them within and outside Ghana who are highly educated working in the banking sector, engineering, building, pharmacy, hospitals, ICT etc. Please stop denigrating people in some areas of the country. Remember, Sampa was the capital of the then Jaman empire in the late 17th century. Do not forget that skilled and semi-skilled labour are mobile in Ghana. There are many Sampa natives working in Accra,Tema, Sekondi and even Komenda. There are banks in Sampa so what stops you locating your bank in Sampa just a stone throw from Bonduku in the Ivory Coast. You will get value for your money instead of investing in sugar cane plantation for the already defunct and propaganda ridden Komenda sugar factory.

EDUCATION CAN ONLY REDUCE POVERTY,ONLY WHEN THE EDUCATED HAVE THE ABILITY TO USE TECHNOLOGY, SCIENTOFIC INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY TO TURN THE WHHELS OF INDUSTRIALIZATION,INDUSTRIES, MANUFACTURING FIRMS AND PROCESSING PLANTS TO PROPEL ECONOMIC GROWTH AND TO STIMULATE EMPLOYMEMT OPPORTUNITIES, INCOME, CONSUMER SPENDING AND BETTER STANDARDS OF LIVING IN GHANA.
HAVE THE MANY SO CALLED EDUCATED IN THE COUNTRY MADE A ''DENT''WITH THEIR ACQUIRED DEGREES AND PHD TITLES TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC GROWTH IN THE COUNTRY.
WE HAVE MANY SO CALLED NOISY EDUCATED ECONOMICS HOLDERS IN THE COUNTRY,AND WHO CANNOT DO ANYTHING WITH THEIR TITLES, BECAUSE,THE NATION GHANA IS NOT AN INDUSTRILIZED COUNTRY AND THEREFORE THEY CANNOT USE IT FOR INPUT AND OUTPUT)INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT)AND TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC STABILITY IN THE COUNTRY.
ONE CANNOT HOLD ECONOMICS DEGREE TITLES AND FOR THE COCOA FARMERS AND UNSKILLED MINE WORKERS TO EARN THE NATIONS FOREIGN CURRENCY TO SERVICE NATIONAL BUDGETS,WAGES AND SALARIES. IMPORTATION OF FOOD, COMMMODITIES AND EXPENSIVE LUXURY CARS AND JEEPS FOR USE BY UNPRODUCTIVE EEDUCATRED AND POLITICIANS IN THE COUBTRY.
THIS IS EXPLOITATION.

Crap talks. Lack of opportunities(jobs,
etc), massive Corruption by Politicians
or Public Office holders, lacks of laiddown plans(national Blueprints), after the overthrow of Dr Kwame Nkrumah(CPP)gov't for every leadership to follow. And not what come to the head for political expediency. All the Military Regimes and the Party they formed,if any,was a waste of national resources and devo.
especially Rawlings gov't.For eg. When in the mid-1980's,Rawlings govt closed the Head Office of the then Biggest Industrial Complex in Africa-GH Industrial Holding Corp (GIHOC),which had 16 Divisions under its Top Class Management Team Comparable to elsewhere in the world,
(Jute factory,shoe factory, distillery, pharmaceutical,metal wrks,brick & tile,
meat products, nsawam cannery, steel wrks, boat yards, paint division, glass factory, electronics division, tomato puree, paper convention, bolgatanga meat, etc.Later in the in the names of privatization of State Factories (Divestiture),were closed and put on sale; instead of a going concern(wrks at work)whilst you look for a buyer or investor. What did Rawlings think he was doing!.So now if people graduate from Sch and they can't find work to do,is it a problem of illiteracy or not well thought through bad management decision bypast admin. especially Rawlings!.What Ghana needed now is to Create Job opportunities and a well trained Skilled Workforce Sustainable to economic growth.

We need to take a holistic view of the issue and create the enabling environment for jobs to be created by both the private and public sectors.
