    Ghana's import bill for sugar must be way more than just $2mn per year. Absolutely impossible!

    Correct figure is about $200mn per year!

    Importing Sugar is better than building a factory. If you spend $2 million on Sugar and sell it to us, why and why can't the government sell it to get the $2 million back.

    I guess the writer must have made the mistake noting the figure. A ship of sugar is more than $2mn.
