Why then do you believe your friend if Jon Benjamin whose country your friend and Allotey were going to and who has every detail of the security details by a click of the fingers? I am not surprised NPP is still supporting this fool and childish thinker.
This is why they are always confused as a party and bring false figures and information like Bawumia. The facts are there and you are refusing to accept it based on a foolish unconfirmed information from a friend who cannot prove what he is saying. What if your friend was on drugs and high like many of you and your flag bearer does? What if someone else was arrested and your friend not knowing Allotey confirmed; that is granted it even happened and not a scheme to discredit NDC. If someone appoints a fool, what it means is that he himself or herself is a fool; in fact, a bigger fool. The man has insulted the prime minister of Britain, the Queen, the British Parliament and all Britons. No apology will rectify this NPP goof.
NPP is done for good in the eyes of Britain, but for diplomacy, the British will pretend for democracy sake. Where will the NPP run to to complain again? USA, where the GITMO issue is staring at them?
NDC now has a weapon and I will suggest they come out strongly to publicly condemn Jumah and NPP's insult to Jon Benjamin. Even if NPP dissociate themselves from Jumah's insult, the Brits are not fools like he Jumah foolishly think.

Was there a tip off from Accra? Please, this information has the clean story of being a red herring. The man has not even got to Customs yet. Even during the influx of Refugees into the UK, the Immigration officials will be waiting just outside the gate to return travellers without travelling documents back into the same aircraft that brought them. My warning is clear be careful of clearly contrived April fool messages given in May Which can cause sleepless nights afterwards. It appears Allotey Jacobs was questioned in connection with the large amount of foreign currency in his possession. There is no suggestion he was arrested. Such inquiries are routinely conducted on passengers suspected of fraud and money laundering by the Police and Custom officers.

If the British Police were not satisfied with his reasons for carrying that amount on him, he would have been arrested and charged with money laundering, and had to appear at Court in London.

We all brainstormed the issue yesterday. It became apparent that Allotey Jacobs will be granted diplomatic immunity since he holds a diplomatic passport and moreover, acting as a gov't official and with the backing or protection of Victor Smith---and that man, does he double as both Ghana's ambassador to the U.K. & U.S. at the same time---who was said to have sent help, the whole thing was going to be covered. Esp. when Jon Benjamin comes to their diffence. It's clear that the NDC is duping Ghana through the export of such hugh sums of money, through people like these. Allotey Jacobs has been caught red-handed; he's a criminal and a big liar!

The truth however can't be hidden forever, as I informed folks on the platform that I was on. The NDC is full of crooks and thieves parading the corridors of power in Ghana. They're very noisy esp. Allotey Jacobs and Aljahi Bature, in any forum that they appear. They try to cover up all their crimes with their loud mouth. But they can't escape the law, at least not in the U.K. or the U.S. or any other Western Country.

We'll advice Jon Benjamin to stay away from Ghana's politics, as the British High Commissioner in Ghana. He can't be an advocate criminals in gov't in Ghana. We'll appeal to the British Prime Minister, to recall the nosy High Commissioner back home.

Right let's get this straight, from my experience of working with the border force and having been on such operations, l can tell confirm to you that these things do happen on about 30% of flights and not necessarily because the person has committed an offence or suspected to have committed an offence, this could have been a risk testing operation which coincidentally had Mr Jacobs on the flight.
But then, it could be that Mr Jacobs was spoken to, but it could also be that he wasn't the target and someone else was the target. Mr Jacobs may have been interviewed to make the target believe this is just a random thing so that when he/she (target) is arrested, he/she won't suspect the force had intelligence on him/her. I think l should stop now before l say things that will get me into trouble.

He did not say that he was “not interviewed or arrested”, but just, not arrested. So he could have been interrogated then freed.
