Rawlings failed in both aspects of governance- democratic and autocratic, yet has the audacity to talk about others' failure. His rule set us back so many years but Ghanaians don't seem to realize that. The babies with sharp teeth he now so despises are ones he made. His cronies rather saved him and Ghana from going the way of Liberia.

Ghanaians by "forgiving" and handing him the long rope, are only waiting for the day he hangs himself with it. Judgement day is on this same earth that supports us all. Think of the people who lost their lives because of this uncivilized goon, all because he they were successful.

Beside Mr Rawlings all other guys have only come to make themselves and friends rich , a typical one is Mr PV Obeng . Some for their greedy drive put innocent ones behind bars so that they can have the chance to steal money without any stumbling block in their way . Today those in power are doing nothing than steal money and making themselves rich , 1.5 tonnes of gold found their way into a Turkish liner without proper custom papers. This very government have allowed the Chinese business community to rob Ghana of her valuable mineral resources . A gold mining nation like Ghana hasn't got a gold reserve with which we use to stablelize the Cedi , but we have given the Chinese green light to use our gold and diamond as solid money to back their currency . This and other pressing issues like bribery , decentralisation , management of funds are the problems we have to sort out . Parliamentarians are buying houses in the US with money from the national coffers and most people think it's the right way of life . Mr Rawlings just layed the foundation to get us reorganise , but because he wasn't an Akan most of were blind to see his achievement . Stupidity is attached to the heart and mind of 89% of we blacks , fact and truth plays no role in our lives .

How significant? His insults are just too much! Can someone tell me how the others did it and their countries have not burnt? Dr Nkrumah asked for all inclusive Government and another Nkrumahist, Gen Acheammpong proposed Union Government. In Europe they may have a term for ruling for just 19 years syndrome when the ruler believes he has more to offer. Instead of blaming J J, I believe there may be some underlying issues that leaves such people feeling naked and unfulfilled. It may seem most people will consider those years and achievements targets for others to achieve but not if you are not in the seat, you will never know. They are there in Africa, and lots of them in Arab countries. Wishful thinking is healthy but perhaps it comes with raining insults on presumed saboteurs - real or imaginary.

Then there was the NPP Agenda 2000 which neutralised it in 2000. A part of the machinery is still pretty much intact. Kofi Portuphy used NADMO and the National Service Secretariat to do the dirty work in 2012. THose presiding officers who did the voodoo mathematics and refused to sign their records were all carefully chosen national service people.

We all need to get involved through the social media, to kick out the incompetent Mahama and get Ghana's Electoral system repaired in the next four years, otherwise Ghana is finished for ever.

The Charlotte Osei woman and the IGP are all part of the dirty plan to maintain the incompetent Mahama and the NDC in power!

Now we have heard it from the horses mouth. President Rawlings has disclosed that even after ruling as the Head of State, for nearly 20 years, he wanted another term of 8 years. However, he has succeeded in imposing a one-party-state in Ghana. For example, over the period of 1992-2016 (24 years), the NDC, which was founded by J.J. Rawlings, has ruled Ghana, for all but 8 years. During this period nearly every Election has been viewed as being rigged. On a daily basis we hear concerns about the legitimacy of the 'Voters Register', whether every vote will be fairly counted and whether the Electoral Commission is impartial and not favouring the NDC? J.J. Rawlings has imposed a one-party-state on Ghana and believes in Dictatorship. I rest my case.

Read it well, and you would find out that Rawlings is bitter about the fact that he is no longer there and will never be there with Nana Konadu to acknowledge the cheers. The cheers have died down, and once dread powerful man these days passes by almost unoticed. The couple are bitter and frustrated. There is no one in the party they believe deserves to be president. Nana was defeated in Sunyani and ridiculed and that is an unforgetable pain in the heart of the former first couple. As at now, nothing will be more satisfying than the NDC losing the 2016 elections. They've expected that all the time and is never coming! They will never forgive Professor John Fiifi Atta Mills. He has challenged their personality of firing squad. He has defied their call for vengeance with a call for peace. The NPP inspires them a lot, but they are not sure about safety with Nana Akufo Addo. They want to take over the NDC party and run it like Maame Dokono's chop bar at holy gardens, but they don't know what Nana Addo will do to them. Some one might have implanted colonial civiliisation on us that could drive away our african civiliasation but failed .The Arabs succeeded transforming countries like senegal to almost islamic state to bury their african way of living . .In ghana we had the oppoturnity to survive our traditional values most of which are still practiced today. It would have been better for Rawlings and his wife not to have been pulling NDC apart and some irresponsible media folk using them unsuspectedly to fool Ghanaians that the former 1st couple and Nana Addo look good. The posture of the couple after missing their expectation from Atta Mills up to date has smeared them(Rawlings and the wife)with shit.Any person that destroys what he/she has founded,believe in and stand for has a billion_dollar mental question to answer. For several months on Ghanaweb, we have been hearing critics of President Nkrumah accusing him of being a Dictator, jailing political opponents and imposing a one-party-state in Ghana. I have consistently argued that it is rather J.J. Rawlings, whose reigns of Head of State, should be scrutinised more closely. For example, even before rigging the elections in 1992 & 1996, to serve 2 terms of President, J.J. Rawlings,
led Military Governments for approximately, a decade. J.J. Rawlings has now publicly stated that despite ruling as a Military Dictator & having two terms as a President he wanted to serve another 8 years as a Head of State. In other words he wanted to manipulate the Constitutional Laws that he helped to introduce. I have never believed that J.J. Rawlings is a democrat and I am pleased that he himself has now shown my doubts to be correct. J.J. Rawlings has proven to be less of a democrat than President Nkrumah & more of a Dictator. This article shows that J.J. Rawlings helped to draw up the 1992 Constitution with the sole aim of manipulation. The fact that he was not allowed to do so has caused him to be bitter towards the NDC ever since. However, what many people fail to understand is that J.J. Rawlings has been successful in imposing a one-party-state in Ghana. Despite the current economic problems & unpopularity of the NDC Government, the NPP, face a difficult task winning the next Election. Firstly, the legitimacy of the Voters Register (will non-registered foreigners or Ghanaian Citizens be voting?), is the Electoral Commissioner impartial or pro NDC? Will the votes of the electorates be fairly counted? Since 1992, every Election has been viewed as being rigged and why not since the Constitution adopted that year was introduced under the rule of J.J. Rawlings.
Critics of Dr Nkrumah should now hold their heads in shame and whenever they accuse him of being a Dictator, being jailing political opponents and imposing a one-party-state, they should also comment on J.J. Rawlings as I have been consistently urging them to do so.
