  Is this statement coming from K Boakye or it has just be written by whoever wrote this in this web site? If it came from K Boakye himself, then I must say K Boakye sometimes talks as if he is an illiterate senior police officer. He has veered off so many a time which calls into question his level of professionalism and experience.
  A top and a such an experienced police officer shouldn't make utterances like that. It is very unprofessional. Just say we will thoroughly investigate the incident and take appropriate action.

  The colonial police force was formed to protect colonial interests and capital(businesses) against the exploitative masses in the Gold Coast. They're housed like soldiers in the barracks to condition them to love massa and take his command only against their own blood.
  And since independence, NOTHING CHANGED to ever transform this evil force of brute the evil British established to be an anti African aspiration. The beasts are still cramped in dirty and run-down barracks, and the more they live like animals the more brute force they exhibit on the masses.
  The mango does not fall far from the tree. The white man's brute force he put in his police force to chase down escaped slaves in the Americas is no different from what he instituted in his colonies. What they perceived as enemy is in black skin.
  We need to have the courage to dissolve this colonial legacy in the police force and re institute a true Ghana police service with police personnel living with the people and do community police service just like the Ahefie Police.

  If once, they capture an armed robber, then people will be showering unwanted praises when his men go on duty with guns and take monies from drivers. ARE THEY ALSO NOT ARMED ROBBERS?
  I personally not enthuse about him.
  DO we need post-mortem to know what killed this young man when every body was there shouting stop stop stop...he is innocent!

  The "Gestapoing" of the police service in a constitutional democracy underpinned by laws and rights, cannot have any operability as a policy position in this country.

  Elsewhere in the world even criminals are innocent before a court of law until proven guilty. In Ghana the police take justice in their own hands and that itself is criminal.

  What we read here is nothing so strange. Ghana is in democracy so we are all free doing what we think is correct but we forget that DEMOCRACY is nothing more than demonstration of craziness.
