This CPP man is talking without thinking? First, who is he to determine what is fair or unfair if the whole supreme court rules that those people who registered with NHIS cards must be expounched from the Voter's register. How can you retain rotten meat in the soup if your main intention is to eat your food with no smelly soup? For the soup to be clean and non smelly, all the rotten meat must be deleted and even that, it seem to be partially ok because the cook must be lazy to act as such. It would have been better to cook fresh soup but if out of laziness and share stupidity, your choice is to do it half way, it is just best to remove all the rotten meat from the pot before fresh meat replaces the rotten one. If you add fresh meat to the rotten ones, you soup will still smell bad, just like NDC thieves teeth.

Since the Supreme Courts' verdict has retrospective effect the court should simply annul all presidential, parliamentary and by- elections ran on that "bloated incredible" register.
If the supreme court saw nothing wrong with the "bloated incredible" register during the petition against the election results by Nana Addo & co, then one wonders the reasons for present court verdict with retrospective effect to delete names registered using the NHIS card.
The ruling feels crappy.

The law that allowed the NHIA Cards holders on the Voter Register was itself not consistent with the Constitution. It allowed people who are not Ghanaians to have their names on the register, and those names must not be allowed to remain on the register. The cure is to delete those names and allow those who otherwise would qualify as Ghanaians to re-register. Delle should not confuse anybody

CPP doesn't get it. He doesn't clearly know what happened in 2012. The EC hurriedly came out with a CI saying voters could register with NHIS cards and NHIS quickly announced that they were going to register citizens free of charge. We know what happened. NHIS took their machines to the borders to register non Ghanaians. In an instant Togolese officials arrested NHIS staff inside their territory registering people. This was reported in the Ghanaian media. There are foreigners on our voters register that's why the SC has ruled that all those who registered with the NHIS cards should be removed and genuine Ghanaians given the chance to re-register. Where is the unfairness in this?

Why does this Anyidoho keep embarrassing himself with baseless utterances? Is there any relationship between this Edmund Delle of the CPP and Martin Delle of Lordina Mahama's DKM micro finance company?
Now coming to the issue of the supposed unfairness of deleting voters who used NHIS cards to register according to Delle, Edmund, is it his considered opinion, those who registered with the NHIS cards prior to the ruling are all Ghanaians and therefore the current voters register is reasonably accurate and credible, a mandate imposed on the EC by virtue of the Constitution, in the holding of credible and transparent elections in this country?
Is Delle Edmund telling Ghanaians, the current voters register is accurate and credible and that every single one of those who registered with the NHIS cards(data the EC has stated categorically it has) and were present within the jurisdiction of this country at the time of the registration process, are Ghanaians and so the Supreme Court perhaps goofed, when it ordered for the EC to delete such names with an opportunity provided for re-registration so as not to disenfranchise them, in meeting it's critical mandate of ensuring a reasonably accurate and credible voters register?
To help Delle Edmund along, the Supreme Court ruled on this very matter of the NHIS cards in 2014 as unconstitutional based on the conditions surrounding who could obtain that card and the lack of discrimination thereof.
It would help if Delle Edmund could help Ghanaians understand where the unfairness is, when the EC's mandate to ensure an accurate and credible voters register is pronounced upon by the Supreme Court.
