A dog walks into a butcher shop with a purse strapped around his neck. He walks up to the meat case and calmly sits there until it's his turn to be helped. A man, who was already in the butcher shop, finished his purchase and noticed the dog. The butcher leaned over the counter and asked the dog what it wanted today. The dog put its paw on the glass case in front of the ground beef, and the butcher said, "How many pounds?"
The dog barked twice, so the butcher made a package of two pounds ground beef.
He then said, "Anything else?"
The dog pointed to the pork chops, and the butcher said, "How many?"
The dog barked four times, and the butcher made up a package of four pork chops.
The dog then walked around behind the counter, so the butcher could get at the purse. The butcher took out the appropriate amount of money and tied two packages of meat around the dog's neck. The man, who had been watching all of this, decided to follow the dog. It walked for several blocks and then walked up to a house and began to scratch at the door to be let in. As the owner opened the door, the man said to the owner, "That's a really smart dog you have there."
The owner said, "He's not that smart. This is the second time this week he forgot his key."

Prince, I know that very much because my uncle is a police officer. Even when one had to be promoted, especially during the time of Kutu and Akuffo, the police or military officer had to pay bribe, sometimes in the form of Turkey, goat and sheep. So it is not the judges alone who love meat.
However we need more police and military men to patrol our cities, towns and roads at night. Armed robbery is now terrible in Ghana. Some people now even take joy in beating their victims, raping them or shooting them if they don't have enough of what they demand.

Or rather was their aircraft denied overflight permit over Cameroonian airspace because the flight did not have the necessary permit? In this case the flight will just be turned back, and not allowed to fly over Cameroon.

The worst case scenario will be the aircraft will be forced to land in Cameroon and the Peacekeepers detained and then ordered back.

He was arrested and grilled before being given a temporary stay. It shows they have some decency in their system even if they wallop in poverty as we do. In Ghana no law works, else how could an institution like EC defy or attempt to defy a ruling by the highest court on a land? Our country is rotten with no real working systems and we wrongly think it is the same elsewhere.

Poor and improper documentation for policemen on Peace Mission to Southern Sudan. This is the first in the annals of Peace Keeping Mission for Ghanaians. It only happened under the incompetent administration of John Dramani Mahama. And still, people will keep their jobs, because they are ndc police officers carefully selected for the Peace Mission.
If going by air was not possible, let them go by road. They can pass through Burkina Faso through Mali straight to Southern Sudan. It is the shortest route by land.
This is an embarrassment to our dear country. Why, oh why, mother Ghana.?

Let's be economical about the truth. The deployment of Ghana FPU is being done under the Letter of Assistance (LOA) meaning the Ghana government collected the contract instead of the UNITED NATIONS to conduct the deployment of FPU personnel including their 9Tons cargo and 1Ton personal effects. (which is the normal practices by the UN). On Wednesday, 18 May 16, the aircraft landed in Cameroun for a technical stop (refueling) before proceeding to Juba with the personnel with only 3.5T of their cargo and personal effects. On landing in Duala, Cameroun and after refueling and filling the flight plan for Duoala-Juba, South Sudan, Cameroon Civil Aviation Authorities realized that the aircraft did not have the Landing Permit for South Sudan and will not be permitted to fly to Juba, South Sudan The permit was to be obtained by the contractor (Rev. Okpoti BOTWE) who the Ghana government gave the contract to. The contractor without obtaining Landing Permit made the aircraft depart Ghana without Landing Permit for Juba, South Sudan. Since the Landing permit was not obtained Cameroon CAA had no option but to let the aircraft go back to Accra. About 7T of troops cargo including their beds and mattresses which was to accompany them the same date was apparently loaded on the regular Ethiopian airlines flight ET 920 for transshipment to Juba.

The Landing Permit was immediately obtained by the United Nations Mission in South Sudan on receiving the embarrassment caused by the Ghana Government contractor Rev Okpoti BOTWE. The FPU finally landed in Juba, South Sudan on Friday, 20 May 16 without passing through Douala, Cameroon with 100 troops and with only 2.2Tons of their cargo. About 1Ton of their personal effects of the troops were left behind in Accra since the contractor decided to fly directly Accra-Juba and had to carry more fuel. All this transportation of extra cargo including beds and mattresses on the schedulke flight Accra-Addis Ababa on ET 920 and the off-loading of the 1TOn of personal effects of the troops were not communicated by the contractor to the troops or Police Administration before the aircraft landed in Juba. It took a vigilant United Nations Official to note that the cargo was sent on ET 920 and also 1Ton of personal effects was off-loaded after the troops presented the cargo manifests from the contractor. The PFU are currently in Juba with only their carry on luggage (5kgs or less)and there are 11 Police Officers among them who are stucked with only the uniform and underwear they were wearing on departure from Accra.
Only God knows when the remaining 7Tons plus the 1Ton of personal effects will reach Juba and be transported to their final destination Bentiu for the troops. The 100 mattresses and beds have not reached South Sudan yet and the troops are going to be deployed to their location Bentiu and had to sleep on the floor until the beds and mattresses arrive. The major challenge is that The Government of South Sudan already do not trust the Ghana contingents due to a previous Ghana Armed Forces issues on cargo movement. Once the documents presented were to be transported on the passenger flight and now the cargo and personal effects have been slitted on two flights the authorities in South Sudan will not trust the second consignment that will be coming on the cargo flight through Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The same Rev Okpoti BOtttwe had conducted troop rotation of Ghana Battalion to South Sudan few months back and had left behind over 9Tons of cargo including Medical stores of the military behind in Accra. It is sad to see our troops languishing in a very stressful environment like Bentiu in South Sudan without medicines. Our Commanders and Government should wake up and let the United Nations to transport all the passengers together with their cargo and personal effects at their cost instead of greedy politicians and Military and Police Commanders conniving with Rev Okpoti BOTWE to keep save our gallant troops both military and Police from such a terrible suffering in South Sudan. In addition, the same Rev BOTWE had caused the military forces in DR Congo to suffer the same fate. Rev Okpoti BOTWE is not a qualified contractor to handle rotation of our troops. We have been in Peacekeeping operations since 1960 and we cannot boast of any lessons learned. We keep committing silly mistakes which other nationals which are unpardonable. God bless Ghana

All those people who believe in the existence of this paper and the rubbish it has published are ignorant fools who believe everything churned out by NPP apologists to make the NDC government look bad. NPP has lied about the economy with Bawumia, an idiot of an economist who thinks removing four zeroes at the end of a currency appreciates the currency (Yes!), leading the charge. The Party has used sympathetic leaders of various labor groups to take industrial action to back unreasonable demands. It has used non-existent characters to publish bold-faced lies about the government in faked newspapers such as this one. The Party has also lied about the Voters Register claiming that a secret "Huhudious" contraption of theirs had spotted foreigners from one neighboring country who voted in the last elections. However when they were asked to showcase it or lend it to the EC to facilitate expunging the illegal voters from its rolls, they couldn't. Their involving one of our neighbors in this lie failed to create the chaos they had intended between our countries but it showed how devious the Party is: It'll stop at nothing in order to win power. In fact the Party has lied so much that it's begun to believe it's own lies. Luckily the majority of Ghanaians has seen through this smoke and mirrors and the Party has become it's own enemy and falling on its own sword.

To the uninformed and/or illnformed, no country will do what Cameroon is alleged to have done--not even North Korea! This is clearly an NPP propaganda piece designed to malign the NDC government. The protocols for such movement are worked out in advance among the U N, the host country, the contributing country and any transit country and because of the importance and urgency of such missions, no country has even tried to cause problems. Therefore for the paper to even suggest that Cameroon has acted otherwise not only is preposterous. It is stupidity bordering on insanity and smacks of the desperation that continues to bedevil this evil group of people as the NDC, though imperfect, continues to stand tall amidst all this.
